I continued mining ores for ten minutes, and one and a half of my pickaxes broke by then. But I had enough iron to make an iron pickaxe. Ashton kept the job of smelting the iron ore and retrieving iron ingots when they're done.
Of course, I collected coal as well, because we didn't have wood to heat the furnace. At the rate the coal and iron we have now, it'll take four more minutes for the rest to smelt. Leaving six minutes to get to the clearing.
"Hey Dylan!" Ashton called down the cave. "Is there light near you?" That was a stenage question...."No!" I answered. "Why?"
Ashton walked down the tunnel and appeared through the hole. "Well, I definitely saw light. But it was left from this area. Probably a missing block leading into a ravine with lava."
Ashton went back to the furnace, while I kept mining for minerals. Then a thought popped up in my mind. Why don't I strip mine staircases downwards to level thirteen for diamond? That was a good idea, I was currently at level twenty eight. Fifteen levels of stone, not enough time. But I decided to get as much done as I possibly could.
I strip-mined for three minutes, leaving two minutes to return to spawn. Then, after thirty more seconds, I struck level thrirteen. As well as a good cave filled with dangerous lava. Unfortunately, time was up. Had to return. But, I looked around. I was level thirteen, the x was..Ah yes, and that was the y! The coordinates were in my head now, so I could return for diamond.
Ashton and I met up at the furnace, and he was wearing full iron armor, and an iron sword. He passed me so many iron ingots, I couldn't count them all. I crafted four more sets of iron armor, and I put one if them on. I did the same with the sword and pickaxe. Ashton and I returned to the surface with one word to say. Just one. "EPICLY DECKED OUT!" I wasn't one to shout, but I did this time. And boy, did it feel good.

We returned to the clearing, and I passed out the iron gear 'n' stuff. We were all seriously decked out. Tobias's tools he created were useless compared to our iron ones, so he threw those away. But the wood he had would come in handy sooner or later. Leo and Tobias had gotten to work on building the house, with Ashton holding the blueprint and telling them what block goes where.
Rachel and I helped move in furniture and cut down trees for more space. We even made an area under our house as a tornado bunker. Connected to the bunker was a brewing room, a bakery. All underground.
KA-BOOM!
