Life and death. Its the two things everyone shares and that can't be avoided. Every grace reads Birth year - Death year. They may be the two parts of everyone's life that can't be avoided but they are not the most important. The most important part of every persons life is the hyphen (-) The hyphen is the most important because it's the story. The hyphen is the part of everyone's life that makes them different. Its your story and its what makes you unique from any other person. At the final moments of a life's story everyone focuses on the birth and death but it doesn't matter. It is irrelevant if the person didn't spend their life making their story and becoming their own person. As a family member or friend or what ever your relationship to the person who passed is. It is your job to not focuse on the dates of start and finish but to focuse in the hyphen. To celebrate the life and story this person created and cherish the fact that you were able to be a part of it. Don't live the life you don't want to live. Go out and make something of it. Live the life you want. Learn to love, to be happy, and to become the other half of another person. Trust them fully and give them your life. Create a story worth remembering. Don't listen to others and do what someone else wants you to. Don't always live life by a plan. Live on the moment. Don't go through life being unhappy just to please others. You will find someone who you can be happy being yourself and they can too. Live life like no one is watching, judging, or holding you back. If you want something, strive for it. Don't just live life making choices you'll regret in the end. Never wonder what if. Never think back and wonder what would of happened if you took a chance. Just take it. Make your hyphen bigger than the dates. Make your story one you would want to remember.
