The Mortal Realm Is A Cage
Leo's Point Of View-
Leo looked over his kingdom and sighed biting into a tomato. He stood up, it
had been a month since they were first bound under Veronicas contract. And he wanted to escape
That curse, he didn't want to have to hurt or exclude foreigners. He knew the cure for the curse.
And he knew where to get it. So what was stopping him? He knew, he knew all too well.
There was a wizard. A wizard that could rid of this curse. But he, henry had to defeat leo in order to do so. Leo could be brought back to life, however just the very thought of losing scared him. He got up and walked through his castle, or well his and his sisters castle. He wanted to go tell one of them his newly made decision. He decided to tell there eldest sister camila, for Elise would stop him as well as Xander. Xander was in love with Veronica, He's a tall dark handsome young man, and very easy on the eyes.And while Leo knows Xander only wants the best for him. Leo can't help but hate his brother. For falling for such a witch of a child.
Leo walked to Camila's room. The air around the room smelled of cinnamon and roses. He knocked on the door earning a calm. "Come in." He walked in and was greeted by a smiling
Camila. Who was sharpening her battle axe and polishing her headband. She looked at him with
her long purple locks turning with her head. She truly was a beautiful woman.
"What brings you here? Your usually to crabby to even speak to me,"Camila laughed out. Leo shrugged. "I'm going out. To find the guy that can get us out of the contract"
"Oh. Well good luck!" she gave him a dismissive wave and Leo rolled his eyes.
Leo exited the castle and made his way to his steed. Hopping on and petting its head. He began riding when he saw his best friend, ally, and comrade walking just in eye distance. HE galloped behind Takumi. Takumi turned around and smiled. "What are you doing outside of your cage?" he asked sarcastically causing Leo to roll his eyes.
"What are you doing in MY kingdom?" leo emphasized.
Takumi put a hand on his hip."Looking for a way out."
Leo sighed and gestured to his brown horse. "Hop on. That way i can give you the personal boot myself." Takumi stuck his tongue out but got on any ways. When a voice spoke behind them.
"What Xander told me was true? Was it not? You want to break our biding contract? Do you not?"The voice was that child like voice. The one that sounded broken, Creepy,and threatening. Leo stiffened "So he ratted me out didn't he Veronica?'
"Oh,Oh,Oh yes he did. So loyal. Wouldn't you agree...?" Leo knew her voice. The voice that was from his nightmares."Now my oh my it looks as though i'm going to have to punish you. I'll let you free of our contract, but you'll be free in the mortal world!"
"Wait wha-" And like that our young prince was teleported to the mortal realm.
Standing outside Palm Desert Middle School were six individuals or "foreign exchange students' that were all sent there by veronica.
No one's Point of View
Henry, Leo, Takumi, Jade, Dave,,and Genos were their names. And each of them were from a much different realm than the mortal one. And yet even though they all were from different realms, they knew this was trouble.
The principal waved them down. Giving them 'lanyards' and uniforms. They each were pushed into the school ground without given as much as a word of explanation. The foreigners were shoved into a room and told to converse until a 'guide' came in to show them around.
Jades happy face looked around the room and smiled brightly. "Hello everyone! I had a feeling i'd meet you!" Dave rolled his eyes under his shades and pushed them up."Of course you did." he replied sarcastically.
Leo's eyes scanned the room. There were bookshelves lining it. And a few strange metal boxes with glass. However, he could care less about the room right now. Because it seems his curse had been lifted.
"I'm glad that curse is gone but...where are we?" jade spoke in a confused tone. Her hair was long and black. And her eyes were emerald green. She had glasses and rubber bands in many different colors wrapped around her small, feminine fingers.
"How did you know I had a curse?" leo asked purple eyes darting to her. She shrugged and dave cut in tipping up his shades. "She's a psychic, Or just a really good guesser. Choose whichever one you like"Dave stated.
The door opened and a boy walked in. He had very light blonde hair almost white. When he saw all of the unique faces his eyes widened as he went in front of them all. He was wearing a school uniform . "Um.... Hey im Gay. And i'll be your guide."
Genos looked at him with his calm expression.Robotic body turning with him . "Hello Gay. Do you know where we are?"
Gay gave her a bewildered look. "Um. -RANDOM SCHOOL IN ALABAMA-. Where else?" He wondered
"So we're not in plegia anymore?" Henry asked putting his hand to his head and knocking on his head. He was a lanky, White haired youth, with squinting eyes, and a lot of purple.
Gay shook his head still confused. "Um..its 4th period by now so I'll lead you to your class. Which is also my class coincidentally."
Gay and the others made there way to there classroom. Which had a sign saying 'Mr.s Sherrie'on the door.
Dave rolled his eyes under his shades."Lame."
Takumi held his unamused face as they walked into the room. The room was filled with flowers and bright colors. Which made leo scoff. And the room had a small bookshelf area in the corner. Along with rows of desks in groups.
"Uh.Hi. I'm miss Sherrie. You must be the new students." A woman stated. Looking up from her little clipboard.
"What's with the getup?" One student whispered to another.
They made there way to there desks and eventually the whispers stopped. And the class was speaking loudly.
"So...how are we supposed to get out?" Takumi questioned.
"Beats. Me. But i guess we will need to find Veronica to get out" Dave replied
"Yup!" Jade cut in. "And i have a feeling I know where she is."
"Where?" Leo asked half heartedly.
Jade just shrugged and looked around the cheerful room. Mrs.Sherrie walked up to the table group and put a stack of packets on the table.
"Um. What are these for?" Genos questioned
"Oh! This is the assignment i'm giving you this week. Since your new here feel free to work on them now!" She exclaimed walking away.
Henry looked at the packets and disintegrated them. "Now back to veronica then."
Takumi nodded. "It's clear we've all been sent here by her.So does anyone have any ideas where to look?"He asked.
"Oooooo! I wanna' have us look in the principal's office!"Jade screeched
"I think we should look at the rooftops!" henry said making little hand motions.
Leo rolled his eyes and rubbed his temples. "Idiots! Why would she be there?"
"Well-" henry was cut off by a loud crash. He held a long black and red sword.
There, In an enormous hole in the wall. Stood Xander. He was a tall, blonde man, with dark red eyes and heavy body armor.
"There you are..." He said pointing at leo.
Mrs.Sherrie walked up and put her hands on her hips. "Why didn't you just use the door?!" She yelled pointing to the doors on both sides of him.
Xander merely looked at the doors and pushed her out of the way. "Your in my way." he said blankly.
Leo stood up grabbing his tome. As well as takumi with his bow. Takumi had long brown hair and soft brown eyes.
Henry looked at him."Oh my!" he stated.
Mrs. Sherrie stepped back in front of him. "Go into the hallway and think about what you did young man!" She screeched.
Xander sighed and looked at leo. "This isn't over brother. Ill kill you for betraying my love. And in turn our brother."
And with that he walked out of the room and into the hallway to think about what he did.
"Okay so...what happened just now?!"mia screeched.
"Beats me." Jerry shrugged.
"Class shut up and do your work!" Mrs Sherrie commanded.
"There literally was a guy with a sword just now how do we shut up and do our work?!" Mia asked.
The bell rang and all of our main characters walked to find any trace of Veronica.
"Where is she?" Jade wondered.
"Where is who?" A voice asked from behind. Veronica's voice. All of them whipped there heads around and faced her. "Oh, your going down!" Jade threatened, as everyone else got out there weapons.
"Awwww, so you all will play with me? Very well this will be fun!" Veronica took out her spell book and began attacking. First going for takumi with waves of green magic. Just as Leo was about to attack, a long spear was lodged through her causing her to die. And disintegrate into nothingness. Standing behind where she was was hinoka.
"Hey little bro!" She waved at takumi. Takumi sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Who is she??" Dave asked.
"I'm Hinoka! And I'm here to bring you all back to your worlds!"She stated cheerfully.
"Well what are you waiting for?! Bring us back woman!" Leo said rubbing his temples.And with that, they were all brought back to there worlds. Leo without his curse, and all of them without having to worry about Veronica.
Henry, Leo, and Takumi all sat in a room chatting, being from the same world and all.
"I just don't get why we had to suffer so...."Leo complained. Henry just shrugged, "You know what they say! The day a monkey is set to die every tree is slippery!" Henry exclaimed.
Takumi looked at Henry and said . "Henry, nobody says that."
