You feel yourself slowly regaining conciousness. Your head is pounding furiously, making the top half of your body ache. You slowly open your eyes, facing a grey wall. You look around cautiously, taking in your surroundings. You seem to be inside of a jail cell of sorts, for there's 4 grey plain walls. On the wall just to your right there's a small window with thick iron bars over it, probably to prevent escape. Not that it's big enough to get through easily, anyway. The window is casting in the only light in the room, so the left half is very dark. You can just see the outline of a small iron door near the far end of the wall to your left. Your brain immediately fills with questions.
Why am I here?
How did I get here?
Why was I unconcious?
Who brought me here?
What will happen to me?
The last one sends shivers down your spine. You try to stand, but find that your arms are bound tightly behind your back, tied with thick rope and attached to something on the wall. You sigh, leaning back against the cold, stone wall behind you. The cell itself is deadly quiet. But, from somewhere outside the door, you hear what sounds like thumping. Your fingers start to tap along gently behind your back and you realize it's music.
But why would there be music in jail?
Is this even jail?
You still have many unanswered questions that seem like they might never be answered. But just as that thought crosses your mind, the door creaks open and suddenly a figure is standing there. You can just see the silhouette of the person, but just from that, you can tell it's a man. You suddenly hear a voice speak in what sounds like a thick German accent.
"Vell, vell, vell, who do we 'ave 'ere?"
The man steps into the low light that's being cast in from the window. He has light blue eyes that seem to pop out, and brown hair that's slicked back. He smiles, revealing pearly white teeth that seem to gleam even in the dark. He parts his lips, speaking again.
"Vhat is your name?"
You swallow, trying to get rid of the lump that's growing in your throat. You very quietly whisper your name and he nods.
"Vell zen, it's very nice to meet you. 'Ow are you liking your stay?"
You look at him carefully, very confused. Why does he expect you to like it? You're tied up in a cell. He seems to see your confused look and he laughs.
"You 'aven't seen vhat ve 'ave in zis place yet, vhich is vhy you are not enjoying yourself yet. Vould you like to see vhat ve 'ave here?"
You nod, desperate for him to free your hands. He grins.
"All in good time. For now, you stay 'ere. I vill be back in an hour vith some food."
He opens the iron door then closes it with a bang. You lean your head against the wall behind you again, pressing your cheek onto the cool metal. Eventually, you end up falling into a deep sleep.
You suddenly feel someone shaking you violently. Your eyes pop open to see the man from earlier in front of you again. He hands you a small loaf of bread.
"'Ere is your food."
You take small bites and notice he's watching you eat it the entire time. You look up at him but his eyes don't leave you like you expected they would. After about 5 agonizing minutes, you've eaten about half of the small loaf. You look back up at the man, deciding to try and get some answers.
"Who are you?"
"Ah, I am Bruno. I am ze owner of zis, er, place."
"Why am I here?"
"You certainly 'ave a lot of questions."
"I've only asked two."
"Ah, I see you are a mouthy one. Being mouthy vill not land you anywhere, except ze little boys corner."
You don't know what that is but, from the evil glint in Bruno's eye, it sounds like you don't want to know. You quietly finish your bread and Bruno is about to leave before you stop him.
"When will I leave here?"
"Ze cell, or ze entire place?"
"Either."
"You vill get to leave your cell tomorrow, only vhen I say so. As for leaving ze entire place...vell...I 'ave a saying. It goes like zis: No one ever leaves Klüb Ice, not even in a body bag."
And with that, he exits, leaving you with a million thoughts running through your head. You've managed to find out his name, Bruno, as well as the name of this place, Klüb Ice. What an odd name. You still don't know what this place is but, if Bruno stays true to his word, you'll never be able to leave.
The next day, you hear the cell door open once more and Bruno steps inside.
"Hello, zere."
You nod a simple hello and he walks over and gently unties the ropes bounding your hands. The second they're untied, you closely examine them. Your wrists are burned from the material and they're bright red. They don't hurt that much though. You mentally thank yourself for not struggling too much. Bruno nods for you to follow him and you do. You step out of the cell into what seems like a jail. There are cells in a rectangle around the centre of the room. You gaze upwards and see a second floor, but with no middle. It does have more jail cells up there, though. Bruno stops, so you follow suit. He points to the middle of the room, where the floor is changing colours and there is a disco ball hanging from the low ceiling, which isn't actually a ceiling when you look at it. It's actually just a bridge from one end of the top floor to the other. There are three people on the floor, dancing. Bruno speaks, interrupting your thoughts.
"Zat is vhere everyone mainly is. Ze dancefloor. Very beautiful, is it not?"
He then looks over to the other side of the room, where about four more men are standing. Some are swaying back and forth to the music that is pounding through hidden speakers, while others are standing still and talking to each other.
"Zose are ze other people 'ere. Zere are only seven other zen myself. Now zat you're 'ere though, zere is eight. Nine including me. You may choose what you vish to do."
So what will you do?
A) Go talk to the boys on the other side of the room
B) Go dance and talk to the boys on the dancefloor
C) Attempt to question Bruno farther
