Previously

"This..." She said as she took out a small velvet box out of her clothes. "Your father...gave them to me when he proposed me. It was given from his mother, your grandmother to him. This was being passed down to family from generations and now...I'm giving them to you." She said as she put the box onto Alaude's hand. "Then...when you have a son...you will give it to him...with the same reason as I do to you." She continues and kissed his forehead before taping his hands and smile.

"Mother..."

"You...make her happy, keep her safe...and always be happy. That's all I ever wanted." She continues and walks towards the door before smiling once again to him. "Don't take your time much longer, or you'll lose her." She teased before she went out of the room, leaving Alaude alone in his room with a small velvet box on his hand.

Alaude was waiting for her to come, waiting for her in the private booth that he had reserved. It was supposed to be an amazing night, an enjoyable dinner between the two of them, a quiet and peaceful night. The small box given to him was with him all the time. He had it kept on his jacket, tapping on it once in a while. If his friends are to see him, they would positively shock and would definitely think that the man was not the Alaude that they knew.

Aira came with a smile on her lips, Alaude greeted her and helped her sit on her seat. It was so gentlemen of him to do so, well he was brought up as one after all. The night was wonderful. The both of them were enjoying their food with occasional chatters and laughter. Alaude is happy, he is happy to say that the choice that he would make is something that he would regret if he did not done it. The dinner has almost reached to an end, the dessert had been brought out. It was time.

"Aira." Alaude said as he slowly took her hand and gently hold in front of her. "I am a man with action." He said, remembering the words she had said to him the first time they had met. "I am not a man with words." A smile curved on her face as she started to giggle lightly, remembering the same night as well, but then the serious expression on his face made her stop.

"A-Alaude?" It made her nervous, she felt like there's butterflies swarming, flying, fluttering in her stomach.

"Aira Von Ashenbert..." He called out her name gently and slowly took the small velvet box out of his jacket before walking closer to her. She gasped when Alaude was kneeling on front of her, showing the beautiful ring within the box with an awkward smile. "Will you be my other half for the rest of our life?" He asked.

"It's...." Tears flows down her face, a smile curved on her face as she was sobbing. "...es....Yes...YES!" She said as she hugged Alaude with such a broad smile on her face, her breathless voice echoes within his mind.

It was just the both of them inside their private booth, it was their moment of joy, Alaude was smiling hearing her answer. He was relief and happy, hearing her calling out his name over and over again while hugging him in happiness, it was warming his heart, a broad smile never leaves his face. It is official, she is his. His.
