Chapter 3

Laura's POV:

I kept running after my encounter with Ross. I just needed to clear my head from the thoughts of Lynches.

They are all jerks. I don't even know what people see in them?

But I like one of the Lynches.

Rydel.

She seems very.... Generous and understanding.

Maybe I should go to her for advise?

But I don't even have her number and I can't go to their house! No. I have many other people who I can take advise from.

I hadn't realized that while running I came to a wooded area... Like some kind of forest.

Maybe if I go there I can take my mind of off things. I discarded my drink in the nearby bin and headed towards the woods.

After walking for like 25 minutes I realized that I was surrounded by oak trees and the forest seemed dense. But I didn't care.

It's not like there are going to wild animals here right?

I looked down and kept walking afraid that I may step on a snake or any dangerous creature like that considering that I am so clumsy.

And soon enough I bumped into something again. But this time I thought it was an animal and in fear I slapped it's chest.

May I say it was a hard chest. My hand was still placed on it and something hit me its not an animal it's a person.

I looked up to see the guy I saw almost like a hour ago. It was none other than Ross Shor Lynch.

I kept staring at his hazel eyes. My mind kept screaming

Stop it Laura!! He is the brother of the dick!!

But I ignored it. I just couldn't help it there was some emotion in his eyes that attracted me towards him.

"You know we should stop meeting like this!" He chuckled breaking the stare. I cleared my throat once again and confidently spoke "you know you should stop going where I am heading."

"Maybe it's fate that wants us to meet again." He smiled.

Gosh... His smile! It's-it's like you are watching a very hot, cute, and sexy bear.

Wait?! Where did that come from.

I looked at him once again taking a step back wanting to maintain my personal space.

His eyes momentarily softened and yet again he wished to say something. "Look I know who you are. You are my bro's ex-girlfriend. I didn't know he had cheated on you until today."

My blood boiled. Man they are good at acting. "CAN YOU STOP ACTING LIKE YOU CARE!! YOU ARE CELEBRITIES FOR GOD'S SAKE! AND I AM NOT FALLING FOR YOUR LYNCH CHARMS AGAIN!"

"I don't want my heart... To be broken again..." I whispered with tears flowing freely again.

He looked shocked at first. But then something completely caught me of guard. He wrapped his strong arms around me, pulled me closer and embraced me.

I don't know what happened but maybe I was looking for warmth, for comfort and the way he held me showed it all.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and continued to bawl my eyes out.

I loved him. But he didnt.

He used me.

He continued to whisper soothing words in to my ear.

But that when I realized what was happening I was crying in my enemy's brother's chest.

I broke away unwillingly. My body yearned for the warmth again. But no. I had to do the practical thing.

I ran. Again.

Away from him.... Away from the Lynch.

"Laura wait!" He hollered but I didn't stop. Cuz I was afraid if I let him in my life. If start meeting him.

I will fall in love with him.

I can't let that happen. I won't let that happen. My heart is not a toy which can be used and thrown away.

He is Lynch. He is a user, a celebrity, a...

Player.

Damn him and his charms. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!! DONT EVER COME NEAR ME!! YOU ARE ALL THE SAME!" I yelled and ran.

Far away from him.

I hate him.

Ross's POV:

What just happened? "Laura wait!" I hollered and ran after her.

Even if she doesn't want me to. I will show her that I am different from Rocky.

I will love her. I will be there for her. I will kiss her at every chance I get.

I will... Do anything for her to be happy.

But first I have to break down her walls.

You just wait Laura Marano. I will be your night in shining armor.

I will... Finally love you.
