Naruto Time Travel

Chapter 3

Surprisingly Shikamaru was the first to wake up. He sat up and looked around remembering what happened he smiled. He looked at the time seeing 6:00 knowing they have an hour before school he started to slowly get dressed as to not disturb his lover. He went to get clothes for Naruto when he heard a whimper. He looked over seeing his husband/boyfriend here tossing in bed, knowing it would be better to wake him he walked over to to Naruto. "Naruto." He said shaking his shoulder. When nothing happened he shook it harder.

Naruto rubbed his eyes and looked at Shikamaru. "Shika." He said sleepily. "Mm tired."

Shikamaru smiled. "Common school starts soon."

Naruto stopped what he was doing before sitting up fast. "I forgot!" He yelled almost hitting shikamaru in the head.

"Calm down we have plenty of time."

Naruto sighed running a hand through his hair. Shikamaru layed clothes out on the bed for him already and he got up and started to change. When he was done him and Shikamaru started walking towards the kitchen. When they walked in they saw Yoshino making breakfast. She turned around startled seeing both boys up. "Shika! You startled me!"

"Sorry Kaa-san." He said lazily slouching and grabbed a seat , Naruto following close behind.

"What are you doing up this earily?" She wondered. Usually he slept till 7 and had to be forced to wake up.

"Woke up early." He shrugged.

Yoshino sighed before smiling at Naruto. "How'd you sleep?"

Naruto fidgeted in his seat. "I slept well ma'am."

She sighed hating how nervous he was of her. She smiled reassuring. "That's good here's some pancakes, sausage and orange juice." She said handing each of them a plate and sitting down across from them.

They both started eating when Shikaku came down grumbling. He froze at the sight of his son already down before muttering troublesome and sitting next to his wife.

Naruto stood up Shikamaru soon following. Naruto smiled a little and said. "Thank you for the meal."

Yoshino smiled. "It was no problem come back anytime." She said waving them goodbye.

They soon arrived at the Academy with 7 minutes to spare. They both headed towards the back were Choji could be seen munching on a bag of chips. "Hey." *munch* "Shikamaru." *munch* "Naruto." Although Choji was curious as to why Naruto was here he didn't question Shikamaru.

Shikamaru nodded his head in acknowledgement before sitting down and resting his head on his arms.

Naruto sat down next to Shikamaru ignoring the stares he was getting and looked at Choji a small smile on his face. "Hey choji." He said quietly earning a few eye brow raises at his lack of loudness and bright clothes.

As soon as he greeted his big boned friend two girls barged into the room. "I'M GOING TO SIT NEXT TO SASUKE-KUN INO-PIG!" Sakura screeched pushing ino.

Ino glared at Sakura before yelling back. "WHY WOULD SASUKE-KUN WANT TO SIT WITH YOU YOUR LARGE FOREHEAD WILL JUST GET IN THE WAY!" She yelled pushing Sakura back. They were about to continue when Iruka barged in.

"QUIET AND SIT DOWN!" He yelled making the class go quiet.

Sakura and Ino both say on each side of the Uchiha making him glare. 'Were's the dope when I need him, stupid fangirls.' He thought angerly.

"Now when I call your name I want you to come into the room. First Shino Aburame."

Shino siently got up and headed for the room and 10 minutes he came back with a headband. This went for about 2 hours before it was finally Naruto's turn.

"Good luck." He heard Shika mutter before going back to sleep and smiled. He headed for the door and closed it. He walked to the center of the room before stopping. He looked at both Mizuki and Iruka.

Iruka smiled. "First is Kawamari." He said.

Naruto preformed the correct hand signs before switching places with Mizuki making the chunnin gasp at the sudden movement before he switched back. Making both of them go wideeyed.

"Ahhem nicely done naruto! Next is Bunshin."

Naruto nodded and closed his eyes ignoring Mizuki's grin and when he opened them there next to him was a perfect replica shocking the other two.

"C-Corrent!" Iruka stuttered before a big smile came to his face. "Congratulations, im proud of you Naruto!" He said handing over the headband.

Naruto smiled and grabbed the headband tieing it around his neck. "Thank you iruka-sensei!" He said jumping on him and huged him.

"Your welcome, send in ino next."

"Oka!"

Naruto walked out the room, as he did everyone quieted. He spared one look at ino before walking up the stairs. "Ino your next." He said sitting by Shikamaru.

Ino huffed in annoyance. Before going in to the room a few more minutes she came out wearing her headband.

Iruka soon came out and smiled broadly at the class. "I am proud of all of you, you guys have come so far. As of today you are all ninjas, you faced difficult trials but thats nothing for it will only get harder. You will be grouped in a three ninja team led by a jounin. Squad 7 Naruto Uzumaki" naruto sighed hearing his name making Shikamaru chuckle."Sakura Haruno" Sakura banged her head on the desk in despair. " And Sasuke Uchiha." He said making Sakura yell in joy. "Take that Ino-pig!" She yelled making Ino glare. "Next we have Squad 8 Hinata Hyuuga , Shino Aburame, and Kiba Inuzuka. Squad 10 Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akamichi and Ino Yamanaka. Your respective jounin will come to pick up tomorrow. That is all."

As soon as he said that most the kids rushed out. Naruto looked at shikamaru as they started walking to the Hokages tower. "We should tell some people so they don't think were enemies, they already seem suspicious."

Shikamaru nodded in agreement before saying "Who?" In a low tone.

"Jiji, Asuma, Kakashi, maybe Shikaku, Iruka. What do you think."

Shikamaru sighed. "I believe we should also tell Inochi so he could look through our minds in case they dont believe us." He said making Naruto nod.

They approached the Hokages door before knocking. They head a come in before bowing politely.

The hokage looked at them "Naruto, Shikamaru is something the matter?" He said a little worridly.

Naruto took a deep breath. "I would like the follwoing people to come here. Asuma Saratobi, Kakashi Hatake, Iruka Umino, Shikaku Nara, and Inochi Yamanaka. I would also ask of you to remove the hidden anbu from the room and put up a silencing jutsu." Naruto looked at the hokage no expression on his face same with Shikamaru.

The hokage stood up. "Explain now!" He ordered making the anbu shift at the amount of killing intent radiating off of him. 'Naruto shouldn't know half those people or about my hidden anbu.' He thought.

Shikamaru stepped up glaring at the hokage. " We will not say anything unless you bring those people in." He said.

The hokage narrowed his eyes at Shikamaru and Naruto. "Anbu disperse." As soon as he said that the anbu left. "Miko!" He said pressing a button on the intercom.

"H-hai Hokage-sama!"

"Get me Asuma Saratobi, Kakashi Hatake, Iruka Umino, Shikaku Nara, and Inochi Yamanaka. Now and tell them its urgent and if Kakashi is late their will be a punishment!"

"H-Hai!"

As soon as he said that they waited a while. After a few more minutes there was a knock. "Come in!" He yelled sitting back down. Seeing five people walk in.

"You called Hokage-sama." Said Kakashi before he looked seeing Naruto and Shikamaru there.

The hokage made a hand sign preforming a silencing jutsu. "Now explain."

Everyone looked at the two kids, wondering what's going on.

Naruto sighed. "Well..." he trailed off.

"We're from the future." Shikamaru cut in making naruto glare.
