Running through the white tiles of the halls I hummed to myself trailing my roommates with me "Why are we coming to the game?!" Song Lee mumbled with ignorance.
"We always lose anyways!" Ji Hee added with a pleading whine. I
ignored their useless complaints and continued walking with big strides. We entered the big gym, the white lights eliminating our eyesight for a second before spotting the two teams huddled together 'Why isn't Jungkook here?'
I bit my lip nervously as we sat down onto the navy chairs on the bleachers, I fiddled with the hem of my skirt humming to myself quietly, nervous what might happen. "Relax your ass, you look beautiful" Song Lee said. I turned my head to her, looking at her bright smile, her dimples clearly showing. "Your worried about your appearence? You want to show off to someone don't you?" Song Lee explained. "Y-yea" I nervously laughed, knowing she was right, causing to catch Ji Hee's and Ji Nee's attention. "You look cute with that skirt! Don't worry" Ji Nee squealed, her two hands making a peace sign, Ji Hee agreeing with her head shaking slowly, flashing a weird face after.
I giggled, cheering up, checking my appearance with my phone.
My lip curving up, my face a faint pink from just thinking of Jungkook, how he complements my outfit, hugs me slowly.
Snapping me out of my dreamy imagination loud mutters were heard around the room as the school beauty Soouen and her minion Teeniun entered the gymnasium. My eyes followed her every movement, walking up the stairs and sitting behind me. I ignored her presence and paid attention to the game that was starting.
I played with my hands, anxious, worried, I haven't seen Jungkook anywhere. Why isn't here? Is not coming? Did he get caught up somewhere? Questions filled my head, cutting reality.
I watched dazed for a while, lightly slumping into the chair, our team is losing and it's only 5 minutes into the game.
The loud high pithed high whistle blew suddenly catching people's attention, stopping conversations that were once held. I looked across the gym squinting my yes for a better view.
One of our players is hurt, great. I groaned in frustration, worried as annoyed I looked around frantically.
As time past the chairs that were once full of people were empty, people leaving like that last games. "Come on lets go" Ji Nee said looking around the room. "No" I said, I didn't want to give up on him. Ji Nee frowned towards my answer, staying quiet neverless.
It was a quiet game, the usual sounds, squeaks of the shoes against the wood floor. The soft yells of the coaches and players. Whistles presuming loudly, and the bounce of the basketball from the player's hand to the floor.
A new sound caught my attention, most attention. I looked towards the gymnasium doors, trying to see what was causing this new sound coming from people's mouths. His figure walked through the door, his red jersey crinkled and loose. A relieved small smile replaced the frown. He's here, number 97, the best player, and smartest man know in our University.
