It's was a bright sunny day. Perfect for a walk in the park. Tom woke up and stretched, slowly getting out of bed. He could smell freshly baked breakfast. The scent made Tom's mouth water.
Tom put his hoodie on and headed towards the kitchen. "Hi Edd, Hi Matt." He yawned.
"Good morning, Tom." They replied.
Tom smiled at his friends and sat at the table. He was waiting for Edd to finish breakfast. Tom lay his head down on his arms. He didn't get much sleep last night, he kept having nightmares. Tom jumped when he heard a sizzle of bacon.
Matt looked at Tom. He laughed a bit just because he was startled by the small noise. Tom growled at Matt. Matt quickly stopped laughing. "Breakfast is done!~" Edd smiled, handing Matt and Tom a plate of bacon.
Tom got up and went to the fridge. He got a bottle of smirnoff and sat back down. He popped the top off and drank some. He then took a bite of bacon. It was delicious!
Tom was barely keeping his eyes- well, his black voids- open. He finished his plate and without a word, went back into his room. Edd looked over at Tom as he walked away. He then shrugged it off and went back to eating his bacon. He had noticed he was tired anyways.
After Matt and Edd finished, Edd went to go check on Tom. He approached the door slowly and opened it. The door creaked silently as he opened the door. Edd looked in and saw Tom sitting on the floor. He had his hood over his head, mumbling something.
Edd was curious so he walked in without a peep. He tried listening but he didn't hear what he was mumbling. Suddenly, Tom turned his head and looked at Edd. "Trying to listen, eh?" Tom said quietly.
Edd gulped. Oh god, Edd thought. He slowly backed away. Tom got up and put a hand on his shoulder. "What I mumble is only for me to hear. Got that?" He said, sounding as if we gonna kill something.
"I-I'm sorry!" Edd cried.
Tom sighed and sat on his bed. Edd quickly ran out of the room. Edd ran to the kitchen and stopped dead in his tracks. He only stopped to catch a breather. Tears formed in his eyes.
Matt looked at Edd. "What's wrong?" Matt asked.
"N-nothing," he shook his head. "I'll be fine."
"Oh, okay."
