Five days have passed. Matt or Edd saw no sign of Tom. He didn't leave his room. Edd knocked on his door but got no answer. They didn't even know if Tom was in his room.
Edd started panicking. He started blaming himself for the situation. "Edd, something's bothering you," Matt said, patting his friends back. "What is it?"
Edd sighed. "Tom was mumbling to himself and I tried listening to him. It didn't turn out well.." he responded.
Matt looked at Edd. He smiled, trying to cheer him up. He didn't like his friends being sad. Matt and Edd went into the garage and got in their car. They started driving around town.
They still saw no trace of Tom. They had looked everywhere! Tears formed in Edd's eyes. It's all my fault, he told himself. He wiped his tears away and started looking around again.
Finally, they just gave up on looking. They couldn't find Tom anywhere. Even the police couldn't find the man. It had been at least three more days since he went missing. Edd hoped that he would return.
