(I decided to make each oneshot gender neutral. So instead of 'he' or 'she', I'll be using 'they' or 'them'.)
Also, I'm sorry if this isn't even close to depression. I've never had depression, I've only had friends who have had it.

This was your life. Your life was very simple really. Wake up, stay in bed and think. Your thoughts were your enemies. They always come to bite you in the ass. You would be having a great day, then they would flood your mind.

No one cares for you. No one likes you. You could be gone, and no one would notice. You're nothing, to everyone. Even to your best friend.

Bill, your best friend, has been there for you every step of the way. Every time your mind would play tricks about Bill, you would try to push those thoughts away, you really did. But they would get to you.

Every time you see him, you can't help but tear up. It's not your fault your mind is like this. It has been your experiences that made you this way.

What you don't know is that Bill has been looking for you. He tried to deny that you were in your room. But knowing you, you were.

As Bill made his way up the stairs, he tried thinking of ways to help you. Then he came up with one. You would never refuse this request, never!

When Bill made it to your door, he knocked. Then he heard a quiet 'come in.' So that's what he did. What he saw hurt him.

On the bed, laid you. You were covered in blankets. Tears attacking your face are what he noises when you looked up at him.

"What's wrong?"

"It's the voices." You choked up.

Bill immediately knew what you were talking about. He runs to the bed and lays on it. He quickly wraps his around you. "Don't listen to them."

"It's hard."

"I know, but your stronger. You can do it." Bill encourages.

You couldn't help but start to tear up at his statement. He's always like this, sweet and kind. Even when your mind plays tricks, he's always there for you.

Through the tears, you croak, "Why are you like this?"

"Like what?"

"So kind. Everyone blows off things like this, but you don't. You support me. Why?"

Bill pauses, choosing his words carefully. "Well-- I care about you. I care about you a whole lot and would hate to see you hurt."

This made you brake down. Tears attack your face as you cling onto Bill. Bills arms that are wrapped around you wrap tighter, if that's even possible.

As you lay your head on Bills chest, he hums softly. To his hums, you fall asleep.

Bill notices that your breathing has softened. He looks down to see you asleep. Oh, how much he loves you. He wishes he could tell you, but he's afraid. Afraid of rejection.

You don't have to know just yet, not yet.

Sorry if it's not good. Like I said, I've never had depression.
