Wrong Number - Dolan Twins

A/n: MAKE SURE YOU READ THE AUTHOR'S NOTE AT THE END. Sorry for not updating. School is literally trying to kill me. I'm not saying that as an excuse to not write, but school is just so crazy and stressful that I need a couple days to relax. So here is chapter 32. Hope you like it.

The next day

I woke up and the sun hasn't came up yet.

I got up and got ready. Doing my hair into French braids, medium makeup, and black rip jeans with a white crop top and a jean jacket.

I made my way down stairs; grabbed an apple, and walked out.

Morning walks always helps me. It clears my mind and makes me less stress.

I head back to my apartment. When I was at my door, I saw a note on it. I took it out and it read,

Dear Adriana,
I made you a scavenger hunt to got find something that you really need and it really needs you too. There will be hints leading you to your surprise. I'm not good at poems or rhymes, so The hints will just be some words. Hope you enjoy! Have fun.
Hint: pool, stool, wool

I laughed when I got to the 'I'm not good at poems or rhymes'. As I kept on reading, I got to the hint and I immediately knew where it was.

I quickly made my way back down my apartment to the indoor pool. There was a stool in there made of wool.

I make my way to the stool. I looked around it and couldn't see another hint. I looked under it.

"Aha" I said pulling this hint off of the stool.

It read,

Congratulations you found hint number two. Ha. Loserrrr.
Kidding. Congrats. I guess. :)
Hint: seaweed, avocado, rice

I thought and I thought, but I couldn't figure this one out. The person basically just gave me items of food.

Sushi!

I got to the sushi store and walked in. A man quickly approached me with a note in his hand.

"I heard that you are going on a scavenger hunt. The person came here to give me this note and that it is for you. Adriana right?" He said

"Yes" I replied

"They also paid for some sushi for you to eat." He said

"Oh okay. Thank you" I said

"So here you go. And we'll be preparing your meal shortly" he said leading me to a table.

I chilled on my phone for a little until the waitress came with a plate of sushi.

"I heard someone set you on a scavenger hunt and bought you some sushi." The waitress said. The waitress looked around my age. She looked Hispanic.

"Yeah" I smiled

"Do you know who it is. You don't have to answer if you want want to." She said.

"Nope. But I'm excited" I smiled even harder.

"Have fun. Oh and I've seen you around with the Dolan twins on the internet." She said

"Yeah. I'm their friend" I said

"Friend. Girlfriend...." she said

"Just friend. Trust me. All these girls coming at me thinking I'm their girlfriend" I said rolling my eyes.

"Yeah. Must not be fun. But hope you enjoy your meal." She said

"Thank you" I replied

"Oh and can I have a quick selfie? It'll be the closest I've been to meeting Ethan and Grayson." She giggled

"Yeah sure" I smiled

We took a quick selfie and she left.

After eating

I was pulling out my money when I remembered that the person who set me on a scavenger hunt already paid. I grabbed a $10 bill and made my way to the cashier.

"Thank you for the delicious meal. Here you go" I said handing the man the $10.

"But the person already paid.." he said

"This is a tip" I smiled

"Well thank you.." he said

"It's no problem" I laughed.

I walk out and took the note out from my purse that the man has given me.

It read,

Hope you enjoyed your meal. Here's your next hint.
Hint: across, fur, scales, toys

Hmm... across... fur.. scales... toys..

I walked back and fourth trying to think what the hint was about. I looked around and spot a pet store from across the street. Aha.

I make it down the L.A. Road carefully.

I walk in and looked around. A lady approaches me with a note in her hand. She didn't say anything. All she did was held out the note in her hand. I took it giving her a confused look. She quickly turns back around and leaves.

Strange.

I opened up the note and it read,

Ha wasn't that funny?!?!? No? Oh okay..
So you are probably wondering why I sent you all the way across the street... maybe it's because you need to exercise and get off of your lazy ass. Kidding. Don't be offended :)
You might be thinking.. 'sushi store, they bought me sushi. Pet store, they bought me a pet' NOPE!
I sent you here to look at all the pets and move on to the next hint. Don't just leave the pet store now.
I read as I was about to leave.
I turned back around and rolled my eyes and kept on reading.

I left an orange sticky note somewhere around this pet store. It has a hint on it.

No shit Sherlock

Now go search!

I walked around the pet store for 10 minutes when I stopped at a snake. I noticed that there was an orange sticky note hanging under its tank.

I grabbed it and it read,

^^look it's Jake Paul. No? Okay...
You can go home and have a break. I'll be ordering you an uber around 6:30pm. I'll text you from an unknown number telling you if the uber has arrived. I'll tell the uber that it's a scavenger hunt and that he can not tell you where you are heading and who I am. Enjoy your break. Make sure you dress comfortable. See ya.
