I woke in a dark room, in a chair, tied to said chair. I looked around, seeing nothing. I heard a sound to my left, then heard something in the other room. I was keeping my tears in, trying to stay as quiet as possible. I was blinded by light, the door had opened. When my eyes adjusted to the light, I saw a person standing there, "Your awake! Good!" They said with a hint of an accent, approaching me. "W- who are you..?" I asked, stuttering slightly. There face went up into mine, my electric blue eyes meeting stunning forest green eyes.

"Name's August, nice ta' meet ya'!" The voice said untying me. I hesitantly got out of the chair, rubbing my wrists lightly. "I'm Ivory.. where are we?"  "We're in 'he Resistance headquarters." He said, grabbing my arm and pulling me out of the room and down a hallway. "Why am I here?" I asked, trying to keep up with him. "We need all 'he people we can get to take down Alora," He mumbled as we entered a room with lots of people in it.

As we walked, I would sneak glances at some of the people here. I saw some children and parents, some people holding weapons, and some scary looking people. We then approached to a guy who looked like the head of this place. He was in front of a table with a map with some other people around it, looks like they were planning. " Cap'in, the girl has awoken," "Good! I'm the leader of the Resistance, Jordan, Jordan Coyle." The man Jordan said, he was rather cute. Short dark brown hair and mint green eyes, he looked like he was about 6'5 or 6'4. "I'm Ivory Basseri," I stated, staring up at him.

"We found her in Alora bein' dragged towards the castle." August told him. I finally got a good look at August, he was 6'1 and had long white hair. Jordan thought for a moment, "They must want her for something," He trailed off, "I over heard some guards saying that the prince wanted me as his personal slave.." I mumbled as they looked at me. Jordan and August both looked me up and down, "Makes sense." Jordan said as August nodded his head in agreement. I looked away from them, holding my arm, embarrassed.
