"Diego, mi primo! Cómo estás?" (Diego, my cousin! How are you?) Y/N smiled as soon as she saw the familiar face of her cousin, Diego, in front of her.
"Y/N! Estoy bien; aunque, estoy un poco cansado. Volé desde Antwerp hace unas horas," (Y/N! I'm doing great; although, I am a little tired. I flew in from Antwerp a few hours ago.) Diego smiled from ear-to-ear as he brought Y/N in for a bear hug. "Te extrañé mucho, mi prima." (I missed you very much, my cousin.)
"I know, I should visit you and the rest of the family back in Buenos Aires more often." She giggled as she hugged him back and let him sit down next to her. "I've been extremely busy with university work and I keep pushing it off, but don't worry, I definitely do have plans to come back for the holidays this year!"
"Are you bringing Álex too?" The Argentine tennis player chuckled to himself as he let out a tired yawn and remembered what her parents had told him every time he visited them. "You know your folks are dying to meet him."
"Yeah, of course, I'll bring him along to Buenos Aires," Y/N laughed and nodded her head, which made Diego smile. "After all, I do want him to meet the family too, don't worry." She took a sip of the warm drink as she looked into her cousin's blue eyes, "so, what brings you to Barcelona, Diego?" A question popped out of Y/N's mouth as she was confused as to why her cousin was in front of her.
"I'm on a layover for a few hours before I have to be in Vienna tomorrow," he shrugged his shoulders and let out another yawn. "And on top of that, I played a match earlier today, so I'm extremely tired."
"I can tell," she smiled softly at her cousin and stood up from her chair; pointing her head towards the counter, "you want me to order you something while I'm up there?"
"Coffee sounds great to me right now," Diego nodded his head and smiled at Y/N, who then went up to order two more drinks and have some time for her and Diego to catch up. "Thank you very much, you didn't have to do this, you know?" The Argentinian had a tired smile on his face as Y/N handed him his cup of coffee.
"That's what cousins are for," Y/N wholeheartedly laughed as she took her seat across from Diego and took another sip of her drink. "And don't worry, I took care of it and you don't have to pay me back. We're good."

"Álex? Honey, I'm back!" Y/N greeted her boyfriend with a kiss on the cheek, but he didn't respond to it. Normally, he was affectionate and clingy when it came to displays of affection with his girlfriend, but he was in a salty mood.
"Do you still love me?" Álex pouted at Y/N as she took a seat next to him and she was also very confused as to what the hell he was on about.
"Of course, I still love you, Álex! Where's this all coming from?" She frowned as she looked into her boyfriend's gorgeous hazel-brown eyes. The Spanish rider deeply sighed as he showed her the photo someone took while she and Diego were speaking to each other, which made her want to slap Álex on the head.
"Are you cheating on me? If you are, I understand. And even though I still love you, I'll still pack..." Álex soon was shut up by Y/N kissing him on the lips for a brief moment before she came clean about the event.
"You do know he's my cousin, right Álex?" Y/N looked up at her boyfriend, who was going red in the cheeks and immediately felt embarrassed about the ordeal. "His name is Diego; he's a tennis player."
"Is he the same Diego from your childhood stories back in Argentina?" He blushed as he looked down at Y/N, who nodded her head and he felt bad. He felt bad about jumping to conclusions quickly and not hearing the whole story.
"Yes, honey, it's the same Diego who played in Antwerp this week and is due to go over to Vienna for the next week of matches." She chuckled as she kissed her Spanish boyfriend once more. "Álex, can you promise me something?"
"Sure, cariña, anything," he nodded his head as he played with the stray strands of her H/C hair.
"Promise me that you won't jump to conclusions so quickly the next time something like this happens?"
"I promise not to do something like this again. I love you too much to let you go, Y/N."
"I love you too, Álex. I love you too..."

Hi, I'm back with another update! Wow, again, I really need to work on my management skills, I know. Yep, it's been almost a month since I've last updated, but I'll come up with a schedule to divy out updates between this book and my F1 book to maintain balance. Anyhoo, keep an eye out for the next one, which will be with Thomas Lüthi. And other than that, I hope you enjoyed this one shot; have a GREAT rest of your day/night, and I'll see you later! Bye!
