"In The Rain" is about a broken relationship. Maybe you thought everything was fine, maybe you tried to cover up the pain; but finally you're apart.
And you have so many questions, but nobody can answer them and everything is just being taken over by the unimaginable pain of loss and rejection and hatred and anger and sadness and you're confused and overwhelmed.. and you just need to get rid of it all.
I like to stand in the rain. We don't get it much but when we do I love standing there letting the pure water run over you and release everything.
