Alfie's POV:

There was an awkward, agonising silence in the car. I hate being mad at Zoe but I can't believe she would do this! She knows who much I've been in a mood with Jim since Summer In The City because he made the fans think of 'Jalfie', I mean how stupid is that?

I've got Zoe, why would I go for a boy? A boy when I have Zoe next to me. Zoe the love of my life. Not a boy.

Jim does always dress nice. His hair is pretty perfect as well. And his eyes, those eyes! No, what am I talking about?! I love Zoe, ZOE!

'Alife, you can't stay mad at Jim forever, he used to be your best friend!' Zoe said out of no where.

I didn't even look at her, I just ignored her. The awkward silence was back, we both looked straight at the road without saying a word.

'So your just going to ignore me now, Alfie?' The silence remained.

'Ok Alfie, if that's how you want to play, then that's how we'll play' Zoe said with anger. She hits the on button for the radio with all her power to break the silence.

The Sat-Nav beeps and I look at it. We're here. I'm going to have to see Jim and there's nothing I can do about it. Unless I stay here. Just stay put in the car and not move.

'Alfie, get out' Zoe politely says.

I don't move, I just carry on staring straight. I can see out the corner of my eye Zoe is starting to get annoyed.

'I said move Alfie!' As she says that a little louder she slaps me on the arm. It stings a bit but nothing bad.

'Alf' she's rubbing where she hit now, like she always does when she wakes me up in the morning. 'Please come to this dinner, just for me?'

I look at her and she's staring at me with those big, blue puppy dog eyes. Who can ever refuse this little ones face.

'Fine, just for you' I say and immediately Zoe has a massive grin from ear to ear. She unbuckles my seat belt for me and I open the door.

She lifts my arm up and puts it around me as I get a tighter grip around her shoulder, she rests her head just below my shoulder and we walk in to the restaurant.
