Ugh. Monday. I rolled over on the bed, turning off the alarm.

"Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch." My little sister, Katie, jumped on my stomach making me shove her off.

"OW!" I screamed. She teared up.

"I'm sorry.." a tear slipped down her cheek. I quickly wiped it away.

"It's ok sweetheart. Just don't do that ok?" She nodded.

"Mom said she's making almost done making breakfast." She hopped off my bed and trotted to the kitchen. I get out of my bed and I quickly find my clothes and I set them on my bed. I walk to the kitchen and smell.. pancakes!!

"What kind of pancakes mom?!" I ask eagerly as I sit at the table.

"Blueberry." She replies, placing a plate with 2 pancakes in front of Katie. Yay!

"Can I have three?" I ask bouncing my leg. She puts a plate with 3 pancakes in front of me and puts 2 different bottles of syrup in the center of the table. I grab the bottle labeled "Original"

"Ewww!" I hear Katie say as she grabs the strawberry syrup.

"Excuse me!" I pretend to be offended.

"Both of you stop it and eat your food." My mom said as she sat down to eat.

"Mom... After school can Kirstie and I go to the mall? Pleeeeaaseeee!" I begged.

"Sure but I can't pick you guys up because Katie has an appointment after school." My mom said.

"It's ok we'll figure something out." I smiled and finished my pancakes.

After I made it to school I searched for Kirstie. No luck. I frowned. As I was walking I ran into someone... Not just someone... It was Avi.

"Avi!" I smiled as I looked up at him.

"Mitch!" He laughed and hugged me.

"What are you doing after school?" I asked.

"Going to help my dad at his shop." He said as we walked.

"Nice." I smiled.

"Who's that?" Avi looked at someone walking through the front doors. I gasped.

It was a tall blonde boy. He's cute.. I wonder if he likes boys... Probably not... I sighed at the thought. Whos this bitch? I watched two arms wrap around him and he turned around very surprised and he... What? He leaned down and kisses the girl. So that's a no on the liking boys thing.. I turned around and started walking again.

"Mitch!!" I heard Kirstie and turned around and saw her walking with... The new kid.. is this her boyfriend..? I ignored the thought.

"Kirstie! I was looking for you everywhere!" I hugged her.

"Mitch this is my boyfriend Scott. Scott this is my best friend Mitch." She smiled as Scott and I shook hands.

"Nice to meet you, Scott!" I smiled look up at him. He's so tall.

"You too, Mitch. C'mon baby let's go." Scott pulled Kirstie away from me going towards the library. Oh... She didn't look back.

"C'mon Mitchy let's go." Avi pulled me to our first class, Language and literature. I smiled and followed him.
