Chapter 3

Nervous, excited, happy, and anxious -- that is what Bella is currently feeling. Today is the day she will guest on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest. This is going to be her first EVER radio show. While waiting for John to pick her up, she listened to some music to help her calm down. It was slowly working; she was slowly starting to feel calm and relaxed... until she heard John honk his car horns. She went back to reality and started to feel nervous, excited, happy, and anxious again. She then kissed her mom and dad on the cheeks and said goodbye. Her dad noticed that she was having mixed emotions, so he hugged her and said, "You'll be fine, Bels. Don't worry. In a few minutes or hours, you will start to feel okay again. That nervousness and anxiousness you're feeling right now will soon go away." Her mom then asks her, "Are you sure that you don't want me to come with you?" Bella replied, "Thanks, Dad! That means a lot! And it's totally fine if you don't come, Mom! I mean, it's not that I don't want you to come... I just want you to rest today. You've been working pretty hard the past few days." Zoe then just smiled at her daughter and gave her a hug. Bella then hugged her dad and he said, "Now go kick some radio butt!" The three laughed as Bella walked away and went out of the house.

The car ride from her house to the radio station was just a 20-25 minute car ride, but for Bella, it felt like an hour long ride. She wanted to just get this over with, but at the same time she wanted to treasure this moment. As soon as they have arrived in the radio station, John and Bella made their way to the dressing room. An hour and a half till showtime, Bella started to feel calm; his dad was right, the nervousness and the anxiousness would go away. She then started feeling excited and all ready to do her first ever radio show! Ten minutes before she goes on air with Ryan Seacrest, she was told, by Ryan and some other crew members, what they would be talking about and asking her for today's show. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... "It's Ryan Seacrest here! And our guest for today is none other than the "Inseparable" star, Bella Simms!" 

"Hi, Bella! How are you?", Ryan asked. "I'm doing good!", Bella replied. They then started to talk about Bella's new movie and her reaction towards its very successful response. After about five minutes, Ryan added, "Just like you, there are a lot of teenagers out there who are also starting to slowly become famous and very well-known by a lot of people. Do you know anyone right now who you think will be very successful in the future? It can be any one; another actor or actress, a singer, or what not..." Bella then started to think, and then she suddenly remembered those five boys in this boy band called One Direction. "Well, there's this boy band that I saw on TV some time last year. They're not American though... they're from this British TV reality show called "X Factor"...", Ryan then interrupted, "Ah, X Factor!! Yeah, Simon Cowell is the creator and executive producer of that show... who's this boy band you're talking about?", "They're called One Direction. There are five guys in it; they're all teenagers, probably ages between 15-19. Four are British, and one's Irish.", "One Direction... they sound familiar. Did they win X Factor, or...?", "Nope, they finished third place, which was really really sad because they are amazing! Their voices go well together! And not only do they have such amazing and unique voices, but they're also very good looking! Haha!", "Hahaha! I knew you'd say that at some point!"

They continued to talk for about 10 minutes. They answered some calls from fans and Bella answered some of their questions. Then the interview has finished! Ryan then stood up and hugged Bella, and said, "That was a really good interview, Bella! That was your first ever radio interview, right?", "Yes, oh my god! Haha! I was really nervous!", Bella said. "Really, you were?! Well, it didn't seem like it at all! Haha!", Ryan added. Then they said goodbye to each other and parted ways.
