I walk off feeling stunned.
What the hell just happened?
I walk to the front gates of my school and phone Mum to ask her to pick me up. She arrives after a while and I sling my bag in the backseat and get in the front.
"Sorry."
"Try and be better next time and not so rude. I hope you apologised profusely."
"Okay. I'm really sorry, oh and trust me, I did."
"Good girly. How's your GCSE practicing going. I know you're only in Year 10 but their is the mock exams too."
"Fine. I guess."
I didn't tell her a thing about Luke. I don't like him or anything. I've got enough on my plate at the moment.
We drive home in silence. All I can think of is Luke. He seemed interesting. He probably thought I was some kind of clumsy idiot.
I got home and started my homework. I didn't bother thinking about him. I just decided that I did not care what he, or others think.
I went to bed, dreamless and my head in the clouds.
