Frozen Flesh

The zombie apocalypse has finally come, but for our characters the new world holds far more than hordes of the undead. Jake's one of the first to be infected, but he doesn't turn like everyone else. He seems fine. Better than fine, even. Something's going on with him, and he needs to figure it out before it gets him and his friends killed.

On the other side of the city, Jake's sister, Kim, is fighting for her life just as hard as he is. She's determined to protect the two most important men in her life, her brother and her boyfriend, Matt. But Jake's far away, and even though she's keeping Matt close, things never go as planned.

There are other, more powerful forces moving behind the scenes, and for them the apocalypse is nothing but another obstacle to be turned to their advantage. They have their own ulterior motives, and they seem to be very interested in a certain brother and sister...

They need to find each other, an impossible task in a city of chaos. And there are a third group of people emerging, different entirely from the humans and the corpses. They have powers, powers that can't possibly exist.

But then again, people said zombies would never actually exist either, right?
