I nearly screamed my hearts out when I heard it over the phone. If it was not because of this packed lift, I won't care at all. Mr. Lee is simply awesome. Out of all my previous lecturers back in the university, he is the last person that I ever thought of keeping in touch. Yet, we did.
If it was not because of my dad's wake service, I wouldn't have known that Mr.Lee and my dad were buddies. Ever since then, he have become someone that I consider as a family.

**ringtone**

I try to answer my call in this packed lift.

"hello"
"hello??"
"helloooo???"

It is May. She always assume the person over the other line can never ever hears her.

"yea. speak."

"gosh. oh my gosh! did he call you? did he? did he?"

"who?"

"lee. uncle Lee"

i got a feeling she is more excited than I am.

" yea! it is crazy right??"

"oh my gosh! I am so excited!! so what's is it? where are you? lets go and celebrate"

" yea cool. just wait for me at home. I got some stuff to deliver then I will head home."

"k. then see you at home."

I tuck my mobile phone back into my pocket and try to protect my flower stands. I got a feeling my flower's petals are getting lesser the longer it stays in this lift.

Ting!

I take a look at the display screen.
5th floor.

"hold it!" I said aloud.

I need to get off.
I wiggle my way out with my flower stands. I felt i could breath again once I step out of the lift.
Thank goodness, my flowers still looks like flowers.

I walked down the hallway and it did not occur to me just now when I came into the hotel that this is such a luxury hotel.
Just look at the interior, everything seems so huge and grand.
Do they really need to have such huge furnitures?
Rich people have bigger frames?😑
As I walk, it actually leads me to a ballroom. It looks like some kind of elite wedding reception is going on.
I take a good long look the flower stand that I am delivering, no wonder it looks so lovey dovey. They are for a wedding! 😍 How lovely.
I walk towards the guest reception counter to enquire where I should put  the flower stands and get verified for my job.
She took away the flower stands and asked me to wait. She will have someone over to verify for me.
I took a quick look around, indeed this is a wedding reception. Everything looks as if they came out of the fairytale book. Only that, it feels rather strange because people here do not looks that joyous. Especially those at the reception counter. Isn't it those who handle these kind of roles during a wedding reception are the immediate family members?

"miss mushroom head?"

that got to be calling me cos I am wearing the mario t-shirt with a huge mario head behind my back. I turn around and find a young lad in his 20s bending down a little trying to talk to me. As I see it, he is rather tipsy.

" er~ yea. sign here please. Mr.Cho?"
even though the way he look at me makes me feels uneasy, I still have work to settle. So, let me get things done with and I am off to celebrate.

"the name is Cheng. Jay Cheng."

"oh, I need Mr.Cho to sign this for me."

he pointed at someone who seems to be the groom. A rather old groom. Indeed, he looks to me as if he can be the grandfather of this Jay Cheng boy here.
