While I'm just walking to my locker I finally see Rachel. I haven't seen her since Friday when she didn't go to the movies with me, Melissa, & Arianna "Hey so what happened you just canceled the last minute??" I say really confused "oh Chandler wanted to hangout and go to the Starbucks I couldn't say no to him." "Okay gotcha minsters before sisters haha well I gotta get to English you know why." I said when I stared blushing "Who Brent or jake? Haha later" she winked at me. Jake is this tall guy I also like, it's only them two. I was walking to English and there was Brent walking all by himself. "Hey Brent what's up?" I smiled and just tried to act natural. "Hey skater what did you do on your weekend mine just had me sitting down on my couch and with my girlfriend I mean fridge". Brent always had a habit I being funny he's like a cool guy friend to have.
We walked to class talking about the homework we didn't do and sat down when the tardy bell rang. We had Mr.T the cool teacher in school "okay class after reading the story we're gonna do questions 1, 3, & 5 on page 17 with a partner and I'm choosing for good partners." I was just hoping he'd put me with Brent you never know what can happen in that group not a lot of work talk "Rachel with chandler, Arianna with Melissa , Ashely" I haven't heard from Ashely all morning "Ashley with Brent" whenever I hear Ashely something bad happens and it just did! "Scarlet with jake" well this shouldn't be a bad partnership. "Okay move your desk to theirs and do work"
I turned my desk like a weirdo and sat down and I saw his mouth about to move was he gonna like talk to me??
"Hey it's scarlet right??" He says with that flirty smile just ugh! "Yeah, it is" I said smiling back to him "okay we have to do three stupid problems" he got out his pencil and paper, I just looked at him for a minute then he caught my attention "hey need a paper or pencil??" He said trying to hand me them. "No I'm good thanks I just tuned out." "Okay let me read first I didn't really get the story." He was reading quietly, I just looked around the room curious Rachel and chandler were done I think because they were just holding hands... Ah couples. Arianna and Melissa were just doing the usual laughing their butts off. Then Ashely and Brent were even laughing like best friends I was scared. Me and jake just worked on the questions and started talking when we were done he's pretty funny and cool.
After English I walked to my locker with jake "So I'm having a little kickback if you and some friends would like to come over and hang??" He gave me a flyer for the kickback and just smiled "yeah sure of course I would love to come" I took the flyer and touched his hand. "Okay cool it's on Friday starts at 10:00" he started walking away "okay see you then".
"Omg what was jake doing at your locker" Rachel like screamed with excitement "well he invited me to a kickback at his house and ugh I'm pretty excited!" I had a huge smile on my face "oh cool I got invited too" said Rachel's boyfriend candler ah they do everything together "so we're all going??" Says Rachel "Yes the whole crew." Rachel looked excited "Yay okay see yah, come on babe." "Okay bye."
