Kate's P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of something which I think, is coming from the TV.

I got up and saw Summer still sleeping on the bed. I went straight into the bathroom to fix myself. I brushed my teeth, washed my face and tied my hair into a bun. Now, I feel fresh.

I walked out of the bedroom and headed to the living room.

"Morning exercise, eh?" I asked looking at Chris and Justin who are playing Just Dance on our xbox 360.

"Maybe." Justin answered. Chris laughed as they continued to play.

I walked over to Kylie in the kitchen.

"Sup?" I asked leaning on the counter top.

"I got you bacons." Kylie answered handing me the plate.

"Wow, thanks." I said.

"Really now, Kylie? We had pancakes for breakfast not too long ago and now she's having bacons? That's unfair." Chris hissed.

Justin walked towards me and attempted to get one of my bacons.

"Hey! Don't touch!" I warned and slapped his hands away from my plate.

They went back to play on the xbox while Kylie sat beside me.

"So, tell me about that Ross guy." She commanded while leaning on the table.

"How did you know his name?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Saw him earlier at the lobby when I went outside for a walk and saw his name tag."

"He got his name tag already? I thought he misplaced it."

"Losing something doesn't mean you can never take it back." She stated.

"Uh, you're so deep?" I said. Making it sound like a question.

"Not really." She laughed. "So now tell me about him."

"How am I gonna tell you about him? I don't even know him yet." I started. "Well, his name is Ross and he likes the song Juliet by Lawson. That's all I know."

"Juliet? Isn't that the song that you and Justin used to sing on your gigs?" She asked making sure of her point.

"It is." I answered. I just smiled there thinking about the amazing memories I had with my band. Oh. Oh yeah, my band. Haven't told you about them yet.

Well, I'm in band called Eastern Highways consisting members, which includes me, Chris, Justin, another best friend Stacey. We also have a drummer named Jayden, a choreographer John and some back-up dancers. We used to play in the clubs that my uncle own. We're quite known in Australia tho. I don't know where they are now. The last time I saw them is when we went to Starbucks together and that was before we got the news that we're moving to New York.

I realized I haven't talked to them since that Starbucks meet up. I guess I should take some time on the social media to catch up to them. But not now. Maybe, next time.

"Hey are you even listening?" Kylie snapped me out of my thoughts. Seeing Summer already awake and was laughing at me.

"Uh, what?" I asked.

"We were asking you if you want to go get something to drink outside 'cause Summer here, don't really feel like having breakfast." She answered.

"Are the boys coming?" I asked her referring to Chris and Justin because if they're not gonna come, I'm probably not gonna come too.

"Yep." Chris answered, flopping his shirt as he got up from the couch followed by Justin.

"So.." Kylie started.

"Give me a minute." I said.

I stood up and went to the bedroom to change. I wore a black Jack Daniels Whiskey long sleeved shirt and a white shorts. I tied my hair in a bun and quickly wore my black Nike Air Jordan 3. I grabbed my iPhone walked out of the room.

"You ready?" Kylie asked.

"Yep. Come on, let's go!" I said walking towards the door.

"Wait."

"Why?" I asked.

"You haven't asked me yet if I'm ready."

"Okay. So, are you ready?" I asked.

"Nope." She answered and laughed as she walk towards the bedroom. "Just a minute!" She added.

"Yeah we're counting!" Summer yelled.

We just laughed and shrugged it off.

"So where are we heading?" I asked Chris.

"I don't know. Where do you want to go?" He threw the question back at me.

"Why don't we have lunch at the resto not too far from here since you and Summer woke up a little late." Justin suggested.

"Sounds good." Summer nodded.

Finally, Kylie was done getting ready.

"Let's go guys." She said fixing her shirt.

We left the apartment went straight to the elevator.

"Hey guys. Meet me at the lobby. I'll just tell my dad that we're having lunch at the resto." I said to them.

"I'll come with you." Justin said walking towards me.

They all walked in the elevator while Justin and I knocked on the door of my dad's unit. Summer's dad opened the door.

"Oh Kate, what brought you here?" He asked.

"Um, I was just gonna let you guys know that we're having lunch.. Uh, somewhere."

"Yeah." Justin nodded.

"Okay. Be careful." Summer's dad said.

"We will. Bye!" Justin said.

We walked in the elevator waiting for it to stop at the ground floor.

And finally..
