Title: Letting Go

By: @ModestyIsMypolicy

Summary: It all happened so fast; she didn't know it was coming, neither did her Mother and her beloved sister Lyla. Hoping her faith will allow her to find a way to be happy and with scars left in more places than her body; 16 year old Micah is broken and needs desperate healing, though she may not admit it. Concealing herself from those who oppress her while struggling to maintain modesty, Micah soon unknowingly reveals herself to someone who's always willing to try.

Review: The story only has four chapters posted up, which are quick reads. The overall impression of the book seems to be "average Muslimah story." However, the conflict so far is NOT romantic love, which I admire (and that is different from most stories), but something else that is vastly different. It is explained to you rather than felt, which may be the down side of it, despite it's uniqueness. Out of ten, I would say 7.5 because it has the potential of being something greater if the conflict was shown and more thoroughly felt. Editing and rereading to flesh things out would be my only tip. Give this story a chance, and in time, it will be a fantastic read!
