QUESTIONING LIFE.
Why do we even live
With all these complications ?
Why can't we keep it simple
Like our smart relations ?
Apes, for example,
Are born, survive, reproduce and die
They don't worry about religion or love
Or if the alpha told a lie.
Why did we humans
And all these finicky bits ?
Can't we just live our lives
Without making sure everything fits.
It annoys me, you know,
That i was given such an existence.
I get mad at all the complications
And all the resistance.
Someone is constantly holding me back
And shouting in my face "NO".
You think an ape worries if they eat too much snacks
Or if they stop when we say "go".
Can't we just PAUSE
and strip back to the core
Of why we were put on earth-
To reproduce, and nothing more.
