chapter eighteen (last chapter)

One year later
J- i love you danny boy.
D-i love you to jo jo.
We both made silly nicknames for eachother. It was funny.
We had planned to do something today that we have been talking about for awhile.
And we finally made the decision to go ahead with it.
I know it will change our live drastically but im fine with that.
I got up and put some blue jeans on, with my purple jeans on a hoodie.
Since it was early fall.
Daniel put on a blue sweatshirt,with some gray sweatpants that werent baggy at hall. He looked so adorable.
I headed into the kitchen and got me a bowl and made me some cereal. It was my favorite kind, fruity pebbles.
Daniel had the same as me.
I cleaned up and put my shoes on, i grabbed the keys and headed out to the car with daniel.
I stood there staring at our old house thats ours again.
I turned around and headed to the car, i started the ignition and drove off.
Me and daniel both have been waiting for this moment.
We stopped the car and got out, it was only about a twenty minute drive but we were fine.
J-are you ready.
D-yeah, you.
J-yeah.
We walked inside and headed to the front desk.
A lady made me sign my name on a clipboard and told me to follow her.
We did as we were told. She brought us into a room filled with children.
They were all busy until they saw us. Some stared and some ran up to us and started to ask a bunch of questions. I awnsered some, saying maybe and im not sure. But when i kept looking around the room i saw a child the captured my eye.
It was a little girl drawing what may be a horse or a dog with a brown crayon.
The lady told them to all continue what they were doing and they did.
I walked up to her and started talking to her.
J-hello, what is your name.
Girl- stacy.
J-oh thats a pretty name.
I looked up at daniel and he gave me a nod like he was confirming something.
D-how would you like if we were to adopt you
Stacy looked up at us and squeeled, she was happy.
We brought her to the lady and told her that we wanted to adopt stacy.
She confirmed.
