True Love's Kiss / Jack Avery

Chapter One

      Zach Herron, my best friend. I've known him since 1st grade. This weekend, he invited me to meet him and his bandmates. I agreed. As I was packing, my phone rang. Zach was calling me. I picked up. "Hi Zach." I said, knowing already that he'd be asking tons of questions. "When are you leaving? Are you almost done packing? Have you left the house?" Of course. "Soon. Yes. No." I said. I knew he'd be excited, and I was too. I couldn't really blame him."Okay. Just call before you take off." He was calm, but still a bit of excitement in his voice. "I will." I hung up the phone and finished packing.

I drove to the airport, and as soon as I got on the plane, I made sure to text Zach. I didn't call him though, because I didn't feel like being bombarded with questions. My head sort of hurt and I was going to sleep. Although my phone was ringing, I Ignored it, and fell asleep soon enough.

I walked off the plane, my eyes glancing at every person there in an attempt to find Zach. I couldn't find him, so I sat down on a chair and texted him, asking where he was. He told me to turn around, and there he was, standing with four other people. I jumped over the chair and hugged him. I knew I'd be excited, but not this excited. It must be that he surprised me. "Hi Serena." He smiled. "Hi." I was really happy to see him. "Ahem, Please introduce us to your pretty friend." One of his band members, I think Jonah, said. He quickly broke the hug. "Oh yeah, sorry guys." The boys nodded. "Serena, this is Corbyn, Daniel, Jonah, and Jack." The boys all greeted me. Jack is really cute, but I'd never admit it. I'd been hurt before. I don't like to talk about it though, maybe later.

We got back to the boys house, and it was huge. I was completely amazed. Suddenly, Zach pulled me aside and said this: "Listen, before you get to attached to Jack, there's something I have to warn you about."
