Chapter1: See You Again?

Alexis* POV

"Ok bye mom."I ended the phone call and rolled out of this guys bed. I grabbed my clothes and threw them on. I grabbed my heels and phone and caught an uber to my house.

Once I got in I took a shower and did my hair. Today I was going to hang out with my friend Asia. Speaking of the devil she's calling me right now.

"Hey girl."I said putting my phone on speaker so I can finish flat ironing my hair.

"Don't hey me come open the door girl."she said before ending the call. I walked to the door and opened it.

Asia was looking like a snack in her outfit. She had on high waisted jeans a pair of red vans and a crop top that said the words vans on it. Her hair was in neat bun and them edges were slayed.

"Alexis you was supposed to be ready."she whined as I finished my last piece of hair.

"Calm down I'm done now."I applied some sparkle lip gloss to my lips and touched up my brows."Ok now we can go."

"The uber outside."Asia said. We went out and I locked the door to my house placing my spare key under the dirt. I grabbed a wipe from my purse and wiped my hands off before getting in the uber.

"Where to? Beautiful."The driver asked. "We're going to the IHOP near the mall."I answered and he started his way.

We walked into the lobby and up to the host."Hello my name is Cammie. Are you two to go or eating here?"

"We're eating here."I replied.

"Okay so would you guys like a booth or table?"

"A booth."We both said at the same time. We followed here to a booth and blah blah blah. We ordered food and talked while we waited.

"So ..what made you late today?"Asia asked smirking.

"I just stayed at a boys house."i said not fully wanting to discuss this right now.

"Yea sure....when you gone finally date again?" she asked as the waiter place our pancakes and eggs in front of us.

"Not now ....I just left another fucked up relationship one year and a half ago."I said. Me and my ex didn't workout because he was lying and sneaking around so I dropped him. We went from freshman tear of college to my third year.

"Girl you needta get back out there."She said looking at me. "I love you but i hate seeing you sad like this. Ok?"

"Yeah..I know but its hard to trust these niggas now a days."I said."You ready to go?"We paid for our breakfast and left a tip then we headed off to the mall. We decided to go park the car at mall, we could've just walked but we lazy.

"Lets go pick out a dress for this party tonight."Asia said grabbing my hand.

"What party?"I asked as we went up the escalator to the second floor.

"Girl remember Tyshawn from college,"I nodded so she could go on."well he throwing a birthday party for his self at this 21+club and we are going."

We walked into forever 21 and walked straight to the dresses. I noticed this red dress that looked so cute I had to get it.

"I'm getting this one."Asia looked at mines and smiled."Shii imma need to borrow that girl."She said still looking through some dresses until she stopped on this black skirt and cropped shirt.

"I'm wearing heels..so what you wearing?"Asia asked me."I think I'm wearing some black heels too."I replied walking to the register.

"So when does this party start?"I asked placing the dress on the counter."Uh it starts eight but us ladies free before ten."She started twerking a little. I checked my iPhone 7 for the time and it what was now 2:30.
