Sunny days

I hear her singing to me sometimes, sometimes with tears, sometimes a smile. The distant highway buzzes in ignorance, waking everyone from their imaginative worlds. She takes me out all the time, on adventures. I remember an adventure, up and over hills. Just me, her and the hills.

During the day I was able to run wherever I desired, I went to places where the land was parted by small trickling water, the earthy, wet surface filled with grubs for me to snack on. She would call me when it was dark, though a faint call, a faraway call, it all seemed so close. I know I'm not alone, but I need someone. Dreaming and waiting.

I sleep until I see her again, so warm, as if she's hugging me. I spend days and days running, stumbling, adventuring, routine is how I could explain it. Though one day she didn't wake me, too early to do so. It was a startle in the silently, still hills. Running through the wind. It was, free. All I did that night was sleep and wonder. What was it? Who was it? They looked free, I'm free but, not like that. This adventure I want to last forever.

The mystery, I decided to call it, came back and came back and came back, 11 days straight. She told me not to go near it or think of it, I didn't go near it but it's wrong to lie because I did think of it, in fact I thought of it since the moment I heard and saw it. I haven't caught good details, nor it's silhouette. It is too sneaky. No. Its free.
