She looked at her school and sighed. She never looked forward to school, even with her best friend. Alex and Gail had known each other since pre-k. Alex was dared to go tease her, when he saw her, she was crying. He felt bad and became her friend. They have been friends ever since then.
"High school why must you ruin my life?!" Gail shouted, under her breath of course.
Someone covered her eyes and chuckled, "Don't you like coming here, you get to see me." The male who covered her eyes said.
Gail sighed, "Alex, no."
He moved away from her and walked in front of her, "Oh, come on."
She deadpanned at him and sighed once more, "You're my neighbor, idiot."
The male laughed at her, "Jeez Gail! You sure hate me, but I find you a paw-full!"
The male always was obsessed with cats and Gail knew this. At times it was quite annoying, "...No, stop it."
"Come on you love me!"
"...Not when you're a child." She said ruffling his light blonde hair. She noted his sea blue eyes were big and bright, also they were easy to get lost in. Unlike her, he always smiled.
He frowned, "...But I'm always a child..."
"Exactly!" The male messed up her bright red hair, "Hey!" She shouted fighting back, her fighting spirit made her normally dull green eyes flash.
While she was slimly built she was tough as nails, and very smart. He was much bigger than her, his bulky build towered over her, his planning skills needed work, as did his smarts.
"Agh! Would you love birds stop!?" The school's mean girl shouted.
The duo stopped mid-shove and looked at her, "Yes?" They asked together.
The mean girl flicked her dyed blue hair and scoffed, her blue eyes flickering with anger, "The bell rung." She scoffed walking off.
The duo stopped, looked at each other, then laughed as they ran to their classes.

Gail reached her first class and sighed as she sat in her usual seat. Everyone started whispering about the poor girl. Her school was for the rich, she joined on a scholarship. Her large blue glasses, her tamed red hair, and her, buttoned all the way to the top, shirt screamed "Nerd", which was not wrong. Gail had always gotten A's, she also was in a few honor classes.
"HELLO MY FELLOW STUDENTS!" Alex bellowed walking into the class room. He sat next to Gail as he always did.
Alex was quite a bit different from Gail. His family was rather rich, they could buy and sell the school. His wild blonde locks, and his shirt, which was missing a few buttons, screamed "Jock" and "Bad boy", he honored those titles as they were true. Alex was not the smartest kid, Gail always had too help him, he normally got D-F.
"Alex." A beautiful black haired woman with bright brown eyes said as she walked up to him, "Would you like to go hang out sometime?"
"Can't do. Gail here keeps me busy." He said.
"She's a nerd-" The female did not get to finish as Alex stood up.
"If you insult her, you insult me." He growled.
"Epp! So-sorry Alex!" She ran off as he sat down again.
"Thanks A." Gail said quietly.
"Anytime G."
The teacher walked in and said, "Everyone time for class!"
