Chapter 4

I stared boredily at my ceiling.  Andy had insisted that we all went to bed SUPER early. We had to wake up early and go to America for a concert. Which sucks egg rolls because I can't see Dae Kyung Mi for a while.And it wasn't even CLOSE to three. And that's the time I was suppose to meet her. I huffed loudly and got up. My bare feet slapping the cold wood floors. I stopped in the hallway to get my slippers, then continued to walk to L.Joe's Room. He was sitting in his bed, wearing plaid boxers and a white tank top, flipping through the channels.

"Heelo!" I tried to say in English.

"You fail at English." He said flatly.

I frowned jumping on his bed. "What are you doing?"

He turned to me. "What does it look like I'm doing?"

I blinked turning my head back to the TV.

He clicked the TV off and turned to me. "Shouldn't you be asleep?"

"Shouldn't you?" I stuck my tongue out at him.

He rolled his eyes and smiled. "What do you want, Chunji?"

"I can't sleep in my room."

"How come?" He asked

"Why do you ask so many questions?"

"Because." He stated simply.

"Because why?" I asked.

"If you plan on me letting you sleep in here, I want a good reason why."

I looked down in thought. "My fan's not working."

"It's the middle of November, why would you need a fan?"

"STOP ASKING SO MANY DANG QUESTIONS AND LET ME SLEEP IN HERE FOR GOD'S SAKE."

He sighed lifting up the covers, and I scooted in.

"Mind waking me up at three?"

He rolled over getting adjusted in the covers. "Sure whatever..."

"Chunji!" Someone was shaking the heck out of me. I swatted my hand at them and I hit someone... someone's face. Next thing I know I was shoved into the floor. 

"Slap me again And I'll beat the heck out of you. Now get up! Dae Kyung Mi is waiting."

My eyes jolted open to see an irritated L.Joe sitting on the edge of the bed. I looked at the time. 2:55

Crap.

I ran into my room, I stumbled over my slippers and tripped, landing flatly on my bed. I ran into the closet and grabbed a plain black t-shirt and a black football jacket thingy that said 'Live to ride' and a whole bunch of other junk. I pulled on my socks and pants and ran out the door.

Crap. Shoes.

I ran back in, and took C.A.P's shoes, even though they were too big on me. I began running awkwardly down the alley and skidded to a stop when I saw her sitting on the bench.

"Dae!" I called running over. She looked up and smiled, waving. I got distracted by her and ran straight into a brick wall.

She ran over. "Are you okay?!"

"Ne. Ne." I chuckled. She rolled her eyes, leading me over to the bench.

I smiled sitting down next to her. "Anything new? If you can remember i mean. You DID hit that wall prettyyy hard." She smiled at me.

I chuckled. "Well, Tomorrow I'm going to America." She nodded, understanding.

"Don't worry though. I'll make up for those meetings I missed."

She shook her head. "No, its fine."

I smiled. "How come you were so dressed up earlier?" She frowned.

"I had to go to court..." She hung her head, her eyes were turning red.

"My dad, he's a drunk. And... he's abusive.. That's why I'm always out so late. He comes back from the bar that time and.. well.. I don't want to be around him when he's drunk."

I shook my head and pulled her into a tight hug, She began to cry into my shoulder. "I-I don't want to leave you here.."

She shook her head. "No... I'm fine now.. He's in jail from yesterday.."

"I'm sorry i asked..."

She shook her head. Wiping her eyes.She stood up "I must be getting home. Lea will be wondering where I am..." 

I nodded checking my watch. 4:56.  Four minutes till Niel's alarm clock goes off.  I started to walk away.

"Chunji! Wait." I heard her boots tap the concrete. I turned around, She was centimeters away from me, She smiled and kissed me, then ran away. I smiled. First kiss. With an amazing girl...

I ran inside the house, quickly taking off my shoes and socks, throwing on a pair of basketball shorts, and threw off my shirt. I didn't get a chance to put on a tank top, so i just covered up tightly. I heard footsteps come down the hall and my doorknob twisted. Niel walked in and tugged the covers off me. 

"OH MY GOD YOUR SHIRTLESS CHUNJI!" I rolled over.

"You never sleep shirtless. Your too conscious about your Abs."

I rolled over, covering my stomach. "Shut up!" I could feel my face burning red.

"What abs?" C.A.P Said smugly walking in. He lifted his shirt and pointed to his stomach.

"You see this? This is abs." He did a stomach roll. I groaned covering my stomach with the covers.

"You guys love making me feel bad. Don't you?"

C.A.P nodded. "Yep, now get up We have twenty minutes to get ready. We're staying for a week."

I heard L.Joe scream in protest "I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO MY HAIRR!" He whined.

"You can do it on the plane." He said simply, then walked away. 

God. Ricky's terrified of planes..

This'll be a LONG week,
