…i saw him there. No it was not Alex… but it was someone else interesting. I was kind of scared actually. It was a man that always lurked around school. He gave off an extremely bad aura and only few people see him. I never mentioned that I could see him because if you could you were branded a freak with no coming back. Whenever he talked to people you never saw them ever again. When I say talk I don’t mean talk-talk I mean confront. I don’t think he can talk where there is supposed to be his mouth he has a thin stitch line. I told you that he gave off a bad aura. A bad smell too. I suppose when nobody notices you, you tend to not care about hygiene. Hmm… do I smell bad? I wondered to myself. Whatever that’s not the case right now I’m supposed to be scared. Right, I’m back on track.

So here I am just standing there trembling in my boots when I felt the palms of my hands begin to burn. I looked down at them and saw a beautiful heart design forming. It looked as if someone was burning it in. I closed my palms but it burnt even more. I opened them back and saw it looked even more beautiful. I screamed out in pain and someone passing nearby looked at me strangely. I forgot that nobody could see the man. Speaking of which, where was he? I looked around only to find a piece of paper in his place. I picked it up and it read:

To Aphrodite,

Leave school immediately and go home. Proceed to packing up your important things including clothes and toiletries. Someone would be over tonight to ensure that you packed everything and to tell you and your family what is taking place. I entrust in this letter a school pass so that you are able to leave as soon as humanly possible. Funny, but you wouldn’t get it now, inside joke.

After reading this over and over I asked myself aloud, “Is this a prank?”

On the paper the whole message erased and new words began to form. It read:

No this is not a “prank” in your words. It’s actually more real than both you and me.

I stood there amazed. After I read that message the original message replaced it. I examined the paper to see that it was perfectly normal. My heart started racing and I began to pinch myself frantically to wake up from this stupid dream.

And I did. Except, I was in a hospital. Not really in a hospital but in the school’s nurse room. I looked around for the nurse to see that she stood there observing me strangely. I looked down at my hands to see that the burnt marks were gone. I began to rejoice. It was all just a dream. But then why was I at the nurse’s wing? I probably blacked out in class or something. There was nothing to worry about. I cheerily asked the nurse for my clothing and she handed me them. I put them on and was taking my phone out of my pocket when in my other hand I felt a piece of paper materialize. I felt like screaming but didn’t want to attract attention so I casually exited the room and saw the burn marks begin to reappear. I looked at the paper and it read:

The markings disappeared because you were around people who could have discovered it. That would have brought along some complications for you. You have already wasted enough time, so please! I urge you to go home now. I know it’s hard but please go home. It would all be explained in due time.

After I read it is when the pass chose to materialize. I made my decision to leave because it actually looked real and I believed so I quickly gathered up my stuff and left for home.
