In the story that we've read, it includes two characters in the story which is the narrator of the storu and the old man. They were two different persons and has two distinct persona the narrator is a criticak thinker and a wise planner while the latter is a very weak and fragile old man.
The point of view of the story is about the narrator only because of the plan and the thoughts that is going through her mind. And I think that narrator is a male.
She's narrating the story to the reader for us to understand the situation and whats going on though the story. Also, the author's obsession of the story is, his determination to finish the story.
The old man and the narrator's relationship for me is thay the old man has a very powerful weapon which is the vulture's eye so he's just threatened.
The motive of the man in killing the old man is because of the vulture's eye that he saw a lot of things about him and it symbolizes that it should make him careful with his actions
