Everyday several individuals make the choice to cut themselves, most do it because of low self esteem, and a lack of self confidence. Let's just say that I can help you to not be that person, to not half low self esteem. Here's a few steps you can take everyday to help boost your confidence form within.

Tip 1:

Keep a notepad or white board up on display in your bedroom/locker/room in you home you are in most. Everyday write a compliment to yourself whether it be your having a good hair day or you love the new shoes you got. It's like sending a warm fuzzy to yourself. Spice it up a little by writing this in colorful markers/pens the jazz up it compliment. I display my compliment board on my dresser and usually write it first thing in the morning or the night before. Whenever I pass by it my confidence levels always grow.

Tip 2:

Stay away from negative influences. This can range from people who talk about you behind your back to stoners. Even if they are the coolest kids in school, their words are probably the ones that may hurt the most. As much as everyone wants to be cool and popular just know that if you're not good friends with them then totally shouldn't phase your view on yourself. Anyone who is under the influence is never themselves, drugs, alcohol, etc. are all negative influences. Over time it will ruin them from the inside out until all you know is the vague outline of a person. Stay away from these people as best as you can. They may peer pressure you into going under the influence as well. Which leads me to my next tip.

Tip 3:

Stay pure yourself. The best way to live a happy and healthy lifestyle is not to do drugs and intoxicate your self in a dangerous way. You've probably already heard your teacher go on rants about staying away from this, or countless bad stories on the news. But the truth is I can't phrase it better myself, if you are trying to seriously follow through on my tips then this is where I would start. There is no point in continuing this if you will continue to harm your body and mind.

Tip 4:

Another pick me up I do frequently is keeping a positive vibes jar or notebook. Whenever you experience a good things ,which can be as simple as getting an a on a math test, write it down in your notebook or put it in you jar. Then at the end go the month or year, whenever you want to look at the good memories go right ahead. It's so nice to recall all those fun times and think back to what you did. I tips ally prefer the jar version because you can use it as decor and sometimes I forget about a notebook if I store it away.

Jar- just use any cup/box/mason jar for this. To add some pizzazz you can decorate the storage item of choice with markers, stickers, paint, etc. this helps to remind me to write down good thing because it stands out in my bedroom.

Notebook- customize it to you, after all it is your memories. You can even make a collage for the cover to add some color. Also try using funky pens and markers to write in it with. This way it makes it more interesting to read. Designate this notebook just for your positive vibes, that way you don't get side tracked or misplace it.
