Ch.2 : There's No Such Thing

Our eyes met.What did I just do?! I quickly pulled my hand away and looked down at my plate. I sat up and went put my plate in the sink. I went sit down on the couch and continued watching their performances. Once all the boys were in the living room I went into the  kitchen to do the dishes. "I can help you with that." I turned to see Jaehwan smiling at me. I blushed and looked down while nodding. He grabs the plate from my hand and starts to clean it. I looked at him while slightly smiling. "Why does he have to be so sweet" I thought. "You think I'm sweet?" He said smiling. I mentally cursed myself and ignored him. He nudged me "I think you're sweet too." He said while looking at me and smiling. I saw that all the dishes were cleaned so I took it as a chance to get away. I started walking away but he grabbed my wrist and I turned to look at him. "Lets go to the beach tomorrow." He said while looking straight into my eyes. I couldn't keep the eye contact and looked away. "Yes." I said. He let go of my wrist as I started walking away.He smiled while walking back to the living room.

Once I got into my room I threw myself onto my bed and screamed into my pillow. "Did he just-" I said to myself but was interrupted by a knock on the door. I opened the door to see Jaehwan standing there. "Hey would you mind if the boys came with us?" He asked me and I just nodded, feeling a little sad. "Great! I'll pick you up at 10. Guanlin and Daehwi are riding with us, if that's ok with you." He said and I started to feel even more sad. We aren't even riding alone and here I was thinking this was a date. "Yes." I said almost in a whisper. "Ok then. Goodnight Mina" He smiled and hugged me. My face started to heat up. When he pulled away I kept my eyes in the ground, embarrassed about how red my face was. "Night" and with that I closed the door. I just stood the, shook, thinking about what just happened. I layed down thinking about everything that happened today and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Next Day-

I woke up to my alarm clock going off. I opened my phone to check the time and saw that it was 9:45. Jaehwan was gonna be here at 10 so I knew I didn't have time to take a shower. I went to the bathroom washed my face and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my 2 piece black bathing suit and a white shirt and some black shorts to go over it.

I walked out my room and saw all the boys downstairs in the living room. "I came a little earlier." Jaehwan said and smiled at me. I slightly smiled back but not for long. "Since everyone is ready lets go!!" My oppa screamed. Everyone went to their cars they were 'assigned' to. "I call shot gun!" Daehwi screamed looking at me with a big smile. I nodded and looked over to Guanlin, who didn't show a care in the world. Jaehwan got into the driver seat and Daehwi got into the passenger seat. I sat behind Daehwi and Guanlin sat behind Jaehwan without saying a word.

He didn't look happy at all. My thoughts were cut off by Daehwi who was screaming to go. Once the car started going I started scrolling through my phone.

I grabbed some earplugs that I found in the pocket of the seat. They weren't even opened yet. "Can I use these?" I said barely audible to Jaehwan. He looked at me"Of course you can." He smiled and went back to driving, I put the earplugs into my phone and started playing my music. A looked around and saw Daehwi staring out the window like a excited kid on his first vacation.

I turned towards Guanlin and he was staring out the window with no emotion. He looked so bored so I paused my music and realized that the car was completely silent, besides Daehwi saying "Look hyung! Look!" At everything he saw.

I tapped Guanlin and he turned to me looking surprised. I took one earbud and held it towards him. He looked at me then looked at the earbud and took it from me putting it in his ear.

I put the other bud in my ear and clicked play. The music started and I started tapping my foot to the beat.
I love Exo and when it plays I always sing along but of course I'm in a car with people I don't really know yet so I had to keep calm when Ko Ko Bop came on. Once that song finished Burn it up started to play.

I don't know why but I felt embarrassed. Probably cause I was listening to the song with a member of Wanna One and I didn't know if they knew I listened to their music. I went to click the skip button but I was stopped. Guanlin put his hand on mine, "Don't be shy" He said. I blushed and looked out the window as the song played.

We finally reached the beach and I was so excited. Everyone got out the cars, sims boys were carrying chairs and some were carrying umbrellas. I went stand in the water and just looked at the view in front of me. It was so pretty I couldn't wait to get in. I went back to the chairs that were set up and looked around to see if anyone was looking at me. When I saw no one was looking I quickly took my shirt and shorts off so the boys couldn't see me in my bathing suit. I ran into the water not realizing that everyone was staring. I started swimming and heard someone come up behind me. "Thanks for letting me use your earplugs. It was sort of boring." Guanlin said and smiled at me. My heart fluttered..AGAIN. When he swam away my oppa came up to me. "You know you're in love, right?" He said in a serious tone. "Yah, what are you talking about? Who am I in love with?" I asked sort of shook because of how he approached me so suddenly. "It's called love at first site and I can't tell you with who. You'll find out soon." He said. I felt weird. Why did he suddenly say that? "There's no such thing as 'love at first sight' oppa." He looked at me and smiled. "Just wait." With that he swam away leaving me shook.
