Chapter 3

School has slowly very very very much tolerable. Kind of. It's been a month since I arrived and I managed to even make a few friends. By that I mean like 3. It's not like I have trouble making friends, I just don't care really. I came here for school not for friends and I'm fine that way.

Isabella and I have started to get to know each other. I've learned so much about her. I've learned she's has this amazing talent for drawing. She has slight asthma. And she's still absolutely still in love with her ex boyfriend Luke. I don't know much about him except for the fact he hangs around Ashton and he's currently dating a stuck up bitch.

As for Paige and Sami, things aren't going as smoothly as planned. Paige isn't as bad as Sam though. Paige is just closed off, although I can't blame her for I act the same most the time. As for Sami, she just wants nothing to do with me. Isabella says she just doesn't like change but I'm not stupid and I know she just doesn't like me.

Ashton and I have been talking a lot. He's kinda opposite of me but we get along pretty well. He's immature and loud and I'm really not. He's so much fun just to be around though. And his laugh, just everything about his laugh. Fuck what am I even doing.

Ashton ended up introducing me to his roommates. If I remember right their names were Zack Peters, Michael Clifford and Levi Jenkins. From what I noticed Ashton and Michael are closer with each other than they are with their other two roommates. I found out I had a few classes with Michael and we really hit it off. He's funny even though he makes way to many inappropriate jokes and obsesses over video games and his hair, he's really cool.

I couldn't sleep at all for some reason so I just entertained myself by playing stupid games on my phone. I was about to beat my highscore on my game when I heard a noise outside. I got out of bed and peered out of the window. I looked down to see someone in a grey hoodie throwing eggs at Sami's car.

I had no idea wether I wake Sami or go down stairs and chew the little shit out. I decided to go with the second option for Sami would probably cut me if I woke her.

I quickly put on my moccasins and walked downstairs.

"Hey!" I yelled as soon as I got to the parking lot.

The egger looked up at me shocked.

"Ash? Is that you? What the fuck are you doing!" I yelled again.

"Shhhh Piper you're going to wake everyone up Jesus child shut up." He loudly whispered as he walked over to me hood still up.

"It's okay I'm not doing anything bad. It's just a little joke on Sami. Please Piper don't tell her anyone it was me." He begged.

"And why shouldn't I?" I asked.

"Please I'll owe you one, I'll owe you anything. Just please keep your mouth shut." He begged again

"Fine." I said hesitantly.

His same old goofy grin returned to his face as he put his hand on my arm.

"Thanks." He said.

I started walking away when he grabbed my arm.

"Hey do you maybe wanna hang out for a bit? I don't really get to see you much outside of school." Ashton asked.

"Um I don't really think I'm in good clothes for that." I said referring to my shorts and tee shirt.

"Wimp." he laughs as he hands me his sweatshirt.

We walked for a little bit, enjoyed the peace, talked about stupid things and laughed.

"So I never did find out why you were egging my roommates car." I inform him.

"Well junior year last year Sami completely wrapped my car up. Call me childish but I felt the need to get her back." Ashton said slightly embarrassed.

"Oh wow, you two deserve each other." I snort.

"As if! God no." He laughed.

It got quiet for a bit. Just a comfortable silence.

"So have you gotten to know Isabella?" He asked with almost a hint of nervousness in his voice.

"Um I guess kinda. I know her better than the other two girls." I tell him.

"Do you like her? Isn't she the sweetest person? She's insanely pretty." Ashton said perking up.

"Yeah I guess." I chuckle.

"Well I guess I should probably get you home, I still owe you." He said with a wink.

Ashton walked me home and told me text him. It took me forever to fall asleep for I couldn't stop thinking and wondering and worrying.
