"Mommy!" Jane called from the top of the stairs. "I can't find my shoes!"

"Look under your bed!" Her mother called back from the kitchen.

Jane ran back into her room and looked under her bed. No shoes. She stood back up and was face to face with another little girl. The girl had blood coming from her mouth, and she didn't have any eyes. There was a stab wound in the girls side. This sight would have scared any other little girl, but not Jane.

"Hi" Jane said. "I'm Jane, Who are you?"

The other little girl looked very confused, as if she didn't think Jane would be able to talk to her.

"Can you talk?" Jane asked the little girl in a concerned voice.

"L-Lisa" The little girl said, her voice sounding slightly muted "My name is Lisa"

"Hi Lisa" Jane said. "Can you help me find my shoes?"

Lisa pointed to Jane's bed, where her shoes seemed to appear magically.

"I liked them...So I took them...I'm sorry" Lisa said

"It's okay" Jane said. "Just ask next time, C'mon, my mommy made breakfast."

The two little girls walked down stairs and sat down at the table.

"Mommy" Jane said, "This is Lisa, She helped me find my shoes"

"Oh" Her mother said, looking at the empty seat next to her daughter.

"She liked them so she tooked them, but she gave them back, but I said I'll let her borrow them if she asks"

"Well, Lisa" Jane's mother said, trying to engage with Jane's invisable friend. "We're gonna be late for school now, so, next time, please don't hide Jane's shoes."

Jane ate her breakfast while Lisa sat there watching Jane carefully.

"C'mon Jane, Time for school"

"Come with me Lisa! I'm sure all my friends will love to meet you."

Jane arrived at school and started introducing Lisa to her friends, Who just stared at the empty space where Jane saw Lisa.

Jane's mother walked over to Jane's teacher, and long time friend,Mrs.Monroe.

"Jane's developed a little imaginary friend, her name's Lisa, she hid her shoes this morning."

Mrs.Monroe laughed.

"Well that's common for kids her age, especially only childs"

"Yea I guess you're right." Jane's mom said glancing over to her daughter and the rest of the kids having a tea party, with an extra seat for Lisa.
