Days past, and soon Lisa became a common topic of discussion in Jane's home. Her parents, friends, and teachers all soon became sick of hearing about this invisable girl.
"Daddy" Jane said during the family dinner, the one that only occured on wednesday's because of her father's hetic working schedule, "Lisa and I were playing today an--"
"Dammit Jane, Lisa isn't real, we've been over this"
"Your father is right Jane." Her mother said taking a bite of her salad. "Mrs.Monroe said you have show and tell tomorrow, what are you gonna bring?"
Jane just shrugged and continued to eat her food.
The rest of the night continued on, Jane and LIsa played by themselves for a little bit before going to bed.
Lisa pulled the covers up over Jane.
"I love you Lisa"
The next day was show and tell.
"Lisa" Jane said, "I don't know what to bring"
"Bring me" Lisa said, "I'll let your friends see me...but not Mrs.Monroe...I don't like her."
"Okay!" Jane relpied happily.
The two little girls walked downstairs, Jane ate breakfast and then they went to school.
The school day went on normally, and then it was time for show and tell.
"Alright guys, head over to the circle carpet, it's time for Jane's show and tell." Mrs.Monroe said.
The children all gathered on the large carpet, and Jane stood up front next to Lisa.
"Okay Jane, What did you bring?"
"Lisa" Jane replied as Lisa manifested in front of all the kids, but not for Mrs.Monroe. All the other children ran away in terror, hiding behind Mrs.Monroe.
"What are you all afraid of?" Mrs.Monroe asked looking at the empty space next to Jane.
"Don't you see her?" One of the students said, "It's Lisa! She's real!"
"That ridiculous" Mrs.Monroe said angrily approaching Jane. "You need to stop this Jane, Lisa is not real she is fake. Imaginary. She.'s in your head, you're acaring everyone else with this."
"But.."
"No but's Jane...from now on...If you speak of Lisa, I'll have to call home"
"Yes, Mrs.Monroe." Jane said as Lisa faded form the other kids view.
"She's gone" Another little boy said.
"Of course she's gone Mikey, She was never there."
"Yes she was!" said a few others.
"NO SHE WASN'T ALL OF YOU SIT DOWN!" Mrs.Monroe said "IF I HEAR ONE MORE WORD ABOUT THIS 'LISA' I WILL PERSONALLY CALL ALL OF YOUR PARENTS AND KEEP YOU AFTER SCHOOL...UNDERSTAND?"
"Yes,Mrs.Monroe" The children said in unison.
Jane watched Lisa walk over and take the chalk and the board eraser and hide them in her pockets.
"Now, if you children don't mind I'd like to continue with the lesson"
Mrs.Monroe turned around to look for her chalk and couldn't find it.
"Did one of you take my chalk?"
The children all shook their heads no.
"Alright..." Mrs.Monroe said, retriving chalk from her drawer. "Let's get our math books out."
