Time To Know The Truth

Chapter 4,
Katherine's pov;

It's 5:30am and Payton, Ethen, Helena, Conner, and me where getting ready to find out the truth about Helena and me. Everyone got in the car and brought about 2 weeks of clothes and some food and water.

After being in a car for 5 hours we stopped at a little hotel near by the Alvarado's. After we checked in we went inside and we all had separate rooms. We put our stuff away and and went to bed.

10:30am

When I woke I was face to face with Conner's chest. He pulled me closer to him so he had me fully in his arms. It felt so nice and really comfortable. I started to wiggle my out so I could kiss him cause I mean I didn't want to kiss his chin. Lmao.

But right when he felt me wiggle he looked at him and said, "good morning babe."

"Good morning baby," I said with a smile.

Conner's POV; (gonna explain a little more about last night to make it longer)

Right when we checked in and went to our little rooms we put our stuff away and I glanced at Katherine. She was shocked on how comfy the bed was for a tinny hotel like this.

"What are doing cutie," I asked.

"The beds are so comfy," Katherine said with a smile.

     We both laughed and she got up and gave me hug. Her face on my chest, and it was nice. I wrapped my arms around her a little bit tighter but not to tight. I never want anything bad to happen to her. While my baby girl fell asleep in my arms I couldn't help but think about who would hurt her and take her away from me. I loved her so much that I couldn't bare seeing her sad. For now on I'm going to never take my eyes off of her. If I do then I'll need to know where she is at all time.

     My princessa opened her eyes and saw that I was upset about something and she couldn't help but ask, "is everything going okay babe?"

     "Oh, yes darling. everything is fine. Now go back to bed," I told her.

     But she asked again in a demanding tone, "tell me what's wrong.. now!"

     "Okay, okay.. I'm just worried about what happened tonight. I don't want anything to happen to you. I love you Katherine.. and I don't think letting Helena live here is a good idea. I sense that she's danger darling, and I don't like it," I told my beloved.

     "I don't think it's possible for you to love me.. well at least not as much as I love you," Katherine said.

     I kissed her with so much passion that I didn't want to stop, but my she just had to say something.

     "I know, I sense it to about my so called sister. I just don't think we can trust her till we find out more tomorrow," Katherine said.

     "Okay sounds great," I said.

     Then my beloved whispered in my ear, "now you know how bad I want you, right?"

     "Mmm.. I think you'll have to show me," I told her quietly.

     She started to whisper everything that she wanted to do to me because she wanted me so bad. I loved it so much and now I just want her even more..

     "But not tonight hun," she said with a chuckle then started to get up from the bed.

     After she said that and got up.. I got up quickly with her and wrapped my arms around her and fell right into the bed with her. We both started to laugh and then when the laugh began to get quieter we stared at each other for a long time in silence. Then we both smiled again, did a quick goodnight kiss, and then she put her head against my chest.

     I kissed her forehead and said quietly, "goodnight darling."

     "Goodnight my love," said a cute soft voice.

     10:35am

     Katherine's POV;

      "I'm sorry for ruining this perfect moment but can you please let me go. I have to use the restroom," I said with a chuckle then smiling after.

     "Sure thing love," Conner said with a smile. "But hurry back so I can carry you to the kitchen to eat."

     "Okay I'll be right back," I said.

     When I started to walk to the bathroom I kept on hearing things. Was I going crazy? Or is this actually happening? Maybe it is just me thinking about it happening all over again when I got kidnapped. Tears rushed out of my eyes just thinking about. Then I heard a voice behind me.

     "Katherine..," said a strange voice.

     Their cold hand touched my arm. I started to whimper because I was terrified of who it was. I turned around quickly and then I saw Conner. He looked at me was a sad/confused face. When he saw me crying he hugged me to let me know that I'm safe. I whipped off all the tears, and Conner let go of me. He got closer to me and kissed my head because he knows I love it. I smiled and then he smiled too. Another tear went down my face and Conner whipped it off. I put my hand over his hand when it was on my face.

      I stared at him and said, "please don't leave me."

     "I promise. I would never do that. I love you Katherine," he said with a smile.

     "Ok, and I love you too," I said.

2 hours later..
arrived at the Alvarados House

Conner and I looked at each other. Payton and Ethan are watching Helena at the hotel because we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into.

As I walked up to the door I got to nervous to go any further. Conner noticed it so he grabbed my hand to let me know that we will be okay and he will protect me to make sure nothing bad happens to me again. Then I knocked on the door. Someone opened the door and said "Omg Lauren? It's been 10 years where have you been?"

"I'm sorry but i'm not Lauren. My name is Katherine Gilbert and this is my boyfriend Conner. Are you Gia Alvarado?" I asked.

"Oh.. I'm sorry. you just looked so much like my daughter. But yes I am and who are you?" she asked with a confused and sad face.

"I got this letter from my dad that you adopted Helena?" I said with a concerning face.

"I never adopted a girl named Helena. Her name is Lauren Drosset. I had her about 22 years ago. She'll be 23 in a week. I'm sorry I don't know why i'm telling you all this. I just feel like I can trust you," she said with a smile.

"Oh. my birthday is in a week also and i'll be turning 23. I don't know how this happened and how she looks like me or why my father would have lied to me in this letter. Can i ask you some questions?" I asked.

"Yes you can. Sorry you can come in." she said with a confidence voice.

As I walked in I saw Helena.. I mean Lauren's pictures all over the wall from when she was little. The only weird thing is that if that's Lauren then why does she not actually look like me. She looks so different. Not at all what I looked like when i was this young. I looked at Conner with a confused and scared face. He looked at me and nodded and said "Hey I think I left the car running. Can you come with? Your car is so weird than mine?"

"Yeah I can." i said.

"NO," she yelled!

Then she grabbed her sleeping darts and threw one at Conner and Me. We fell straight the floor and the room went black. Not again I thought to myself. This can't be happening. What will happen to payton? I need to protect my sister from that crazy lady in the hotel. I also need to protect my mate. I cant let anything happen to them.
