It was Airīn's life, living in that orphanage. The kids would bully he for being the only Meif'wa there, or at least the fact that her ears and tail were sea blue, and all the other Meif'wa were jealous because that was the most rare color in the ears and tail of a Meif'wa. Her nick name, made by one of the kids who knew Japanese, was Kyatyiairīn, "Cat Irene" which was her name in English. She was crying as the bullies had ripped up herself favorite piece of art she had made, and then they threw it in the flames. Airīn placed her hand on the paper after the bullies had walked away. It was fanart of a show. The paper started shining. "Wha- What is going on?!" She cried out. The paper rised into the air slowly. Then, it mended. He paper floated down, without a single crease on it. He live for the paper had given her healing magic, for everything. "Airīn? Someone is here. Straitened up your part."
"Thank you, Ms. Aphmau."
"Oh, and so you know, she's my friend, looking for a Meif'wa below the age of 12 to adopt. You've got a big chance, good luck!" She smiled and threw me a thumbs up. I loved Aphmau San like a mom. She was my favorite volunteer at the orphanage. I hugged her and packed my bags, then made my bed, and lastly packed up my drawing book. I heard Aphmau San say to a woman and her husband or boyfriend; "Hey guys! Kawaii Chan, Zane. Come come! She's upstairs!" She had ushered them. I heard steps come up the door. A woman with pink hair and black Meif'wa ears and tail with a bow on her tail and next to her ear, wearing (This👇🏻)Then her husband who had black hair, a face mask, jacket and sweater with stripes, some cackies, and grey tennis shoes.
(Eh, this'll work.)
"Excuse me miss, you said you were looking for a female Meif'wa under the age of 12?" I asked. She looked at me and smiled, her ears flattened in a happy way. "Yes, and Kawaii Chan assumes that's you?" She spoke in third person. "Yes." I smiled. She seemed to like when cheerful people, other than her husband. "And sir, you are?"
"Zane. Zane RoMeave." He nodded to me.
"He's a little grumpy all the time, but make him some cookies and he'll be your best friend!" Kawaii Chan whispered to me. "I can cook, bake, draw.." I trailed off listing all my talents. I saw Zane's eyebrow rise. Then I got to my new found talent. "... and healing magic." I smiled. Zane whispered in Aphmau San's ear. Me and Kawaii Chan could hear him. "Should we give her to Lucinda or something?" All three of us yelled at him. "NO WAY!!!" Kawaii Chan hugged me tight. "Were bringing you home!" Zane picked me up from behind and yelled me into the air, like my dad used to. I laughed and cried happy tears. This was the beginning of something new, something amazing. I have a home.
