Demi POV
I haven't got up out of bed yet. It's almost 2 in the afternoon, but I'm just not feeling it today. I hear my phone buzz, and it's Naya. I feel bad not replying to her, but I honestly just need some time. I do miss her though. I finally force myself out of bed so I can eat something. As soon as I sit down, I hear my doorbell ring. "Who the hell is that?" I say to myself. I shuffle to the door, not really wanting to see anyone today. I open the door, and I find Naya leaning against the doorway. "Can I come in?" She asks, just above a whisper. I move out of the way and motion for her to come in. She steps in, and I shut the door behind her. "So, I'm just going to make this short and sweet then I will leave. Deal?" I nod my head for her to continue. "I know I fucked up, and I'm sorry. It's just...I like you a lot, and it scares me, because this is happening so fast. I told Lea because she is my friend, and I know I can tell her anything. I wouldn't ever do anything to intentionally hurt you. So, I guess all I have to say is I'm sorry, and I hope that you will forgive me eventually." I stand there quietly taking in everything she just told me. I run my fingers through my hair, and let out a sigh. "Well, since you're still not talking to me, I guess I'll leave." She walked past me, and started towards the door. I turned around, and grabbed her by the wrist. I looked up and saw her eyes full of tears, just waiting to fall. "Naya, you didn't fuck up. I just overreacted. This whole thing scares the shit out of me too, and I guess I am trying to understand all of it. I hate not talking to you. And I hate not being able to kiss you. I shouldn't have ignored you, and I should've talked to you. I'm sorry for that." I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, waiting for Naya to speak.
"I'm sorry too, I should've talked to you before I said anything." She looked down shyly at her feet, "I miss you too, I don't wanna fight anymore." "Me either. Can I have a hug?" I asked "Absolutely." I pull her into a tight hug, and I just want to hold her forever. She pulls away though, and kisses me. It wasn't heated or rushed. It was full of passion. I smile into the kiss, causing her to do the same. We end up resting our foreheads together, just holding each other. "Wanna hang out and watch some movies?" I ask, not wanting her to leave. "Sounds perfect." She replies. We spend the next several hours watching movies, eating junk food, and stealing kisses and hugs. At some point we both fell asleep. I woke up to Naya gently shaking me. "Wake up, Dem. Let me take you to bed." "Mmm, what time is it?" I ask yawning. "Almost 2. Come on, I'll take you upstairs before I go." She said as she pulled me up. "Will you stay the night? I just want you to hold me." I sounded desperate, but it was the truth. I just wanted to be near Naya. "Okay, I'll stay." We went upstairs and I gave her clothes to change in to. While she was in the bathroom, I changed also. When she came out we hopped into bed, and she spooned me from behind. I could get used to this. Just as I was about to fall asleep, Naya speaks. "Hey, Dem?" "Yeah?" "Be my girlfriend?" I smile as I turn over to face her. I look into her eyes, then I move to leave a lingering peck on her lips. "Is that a yes?" She asks timidly. "That's a definitely." She leans in and give me another kiss before I nuzzle my face into her neck. What started out as an awful day, has turned into a pretty amazing one.
