Chapter 4: Summer Break
Its Vacation, sinama ako ng mama ko sa province namin here in Bicol dito ako magsstay until school starts. Hindi naman dito boring actually I have many friends here. After a few months, I heard that Jainere and Nathaniel broke up, I dont know why. I was so very curios about it so I called my other friends in Manila which is Kat and Jaimee.
"Hello? Kat,kumusta na? wheres Jaimee? What happen to Jainere,Is she okay?" I said repeatedly.
"Chill, Shes not really okay pa when I talked to her, Shes still crying but we assure you that we make her comfty. Kat said.
"Thankyou Kat and also to you Jaimee"
"WC" Jaimee said.
"Whats WC?"
"OHMYG. para WC lang di pa alam,Its Welcome Cherryl. Get it?" She said with a loud laugh.
"Im sorry!" yun nalang nsabi ko.
Later that day I called Jainere
"Are you okay?" I said.
"Im not, but ill try my best to move on as soon as possible" she said to me.
Sa boses nya palang I know na there is something wrong pero ayaw nya saakin sabihin yun.
"Be strong, okay? I call you back." I said then put the phone down, But my brain tells me that I need to ask Nathaniel what happen,So I call him.
"Hello,Cherryl? Bat ka napatawag? Is theres something wrong?" He said with a slowly voice tone.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Ofcourse, anything." - Nathaniel.
"What do you do to my bestfriend? bat mo sya sinaktan? I told you na alagaan mo sya. why did you let her go? why? answer me." I said with a angry vioce.
"Listen, Cherryl. I did this broke up para di na kami masaktan pa ng lubusan. I think na Im not the right guy for her, She deserves someone better, better than me. I know its unfair but I have to do this. I hope you'll understand at sana di maapektuhan ang friendship natin." Nathaniel said.
wahh! ang lalim ng sinabi nya, nkakatouch. di ko alam maffeel ko kung maiiyak o maiinis ba ako. But I realize na theres a point dun sa mga sinabi nya. pero pano si Jainere? Ugh. di ko alam gagawin.
"I understand" yan nlang nsabi ko. nablank yung utak ko.ei.
I learned something about this.
Kasabay pala ng Summer break ang Heart break nila. :)
