Chapter One : Confession

My name is Hikari I wasn't very popular back then and I was very shy. But that all changed when I confessed to Neko and was rejected.

I don't know why, but I think it was because I was shy.

Here's how that day story began.

"Hikari...Hello..earth to Hikari!" A screaming voice said trying to get my attention.

"Y-yeah Takashi."

"I bet you was looking at Neko this whole time wasn't you, " Takashi teased.

"I was not" I blushed.

"mhm...Hikari"

"Not you too Hannah."

"C'mon he's hot and will be perfect for you. All your have to do is ask." Hannah said.

my intentions was to confess to him today but I'm scared...scared of...rejection.

Later that day I sent a note to Neko telling him to meet me . I began to get nervous but there he was and my mouth began to open.

"ummm...Neko, can we talk" I said shyly.

"No ." He said no hesitation.

"B-but...y-you don't even know-" I was cut off.

"Your was going to confess, right, so the answer is no, sorry."

That bastard

He turned around walking the other way and Hikari was trying to not cry.

But why? What's wrong with me I'm ugly, not smart enough.

"TELL ME!" I screamed hoping he heard me.

Then she thought.

Is it because I'm shy and not popular. That has to be it.

The day after that I was crying non-stop at school and not the least embarrassed about it.

Then that's when Takashi suggested,"If that's the reason then,  why don't run for class president. "

Hannah jumped in,"Yeah it starts next month. You have plenty of time to get some votes for you. Me and Takashi will support you all the way."

She was right. I started asap joining as much clubs as I could, and talking more to people.

When election came, I WON. I was so happy and I saw the face on Neko face and thought.

You'll be the one on your knees begging for a second chance. Just you wait I'm coming for you.

That's how I'm here today. I'm now class president :-)
