Everything Has Changed (DraMione)

Draco was sitting beside Leo's bed in the ER and Aries was sitting silently in a chair agains the wall, overwhelmed by what happed to his little brother and confused by the sight of muggle equipments.
Leo's nose was already beencset and both eyes are turning black. His nosetrils were plugged with cannula to help him breath without hurting. The clear plastic guard theyd put over his nose spunned the upper portion of his face like a mask. He was drifting in and out of sleep, exhausted from the events of the day.
Aries glanced at Draco.
"When can we go home"
He said with a perfect british accent

"We don't go anywhere until the healer- I mean the doctor tells us if it is okay" Draco said.

"Is he gonna die?" Aries asked with teary eye

"No, of course not" Draco said, but he was beggining to worry. Leo was getting quieter, and all he could think were dire consequences, like blood cloaths and concussion.
He glanced up at the clock. They'd been in the ER for three hours, and he was ready for some answers.
The doctor came carrying an X-ray out of an envelope, turned the viewer light, and slid them up onto the screen as Draco and Aries moved up beside him

"Mr.Leo has some healing to do. Besides the broken nose, he also has two cracked ribs, a large contusion on his spine, and one on his thigh, look here" he said, pointing on the X- ray

"These line on the fourth and fifth ribs are hairline fractures. Other than the nose and a couple of loose teeth that should reseat themselves. I don't see any other fractures on his head and gis neck"

Draco felt sick. He wanted to cry, but he had to be the strong one.

"What do we do, how do we fix this?"

"Are you sure that's all? He's getting sleepy are you sure he doesn't have concussions?" He added.

"Adrenaline crash, and yes I'm sure"

"So he wears the nose guard thing to protect his nose, but what about the ribs?" Draco asked.

The doctor patted his leg

"Just don't lift him much for a few weeks and they'll heal, he's young and kids' bones are pliable"

Just to prove he wasn't sleepy as they thought, Leo piped up with a question on his own

"Do I still have to take a bath?" Leo asked.

It was the perfect comment to lighten up the moment. The doctor laughed.

"As long as you let your brother wash your face so you don't mess up the good I did to your nose, you'll be good to go. A warm bath might even make some of your aches feel better" the doctor said.

"Aww great" Leo said.

"You have to take a bath" Aries said.

"I wouldn't want to sleep with you when you got stinky" he added.

"I sleep with you even when you fart" Leo muttered.

Aries look embarrassed.

The doctor caught Draco's eye.

"Could we speak privately for a moment?" he asked

Draco followed the doctor out into the hall. his heart was pounding and he felt sick to his stomach.

"What's wrong? Is the something that you're not telling me?"

"No, no I'm sorry. I didn't intend to frighten you. I wanted to tell you that I have reported to the Ministry and they're on their way to talk to Leo"
