Chapter 9

Pov Eren

It's already been a week.
I didn't expect Levi to be so kind. He really took good care of me. This morning I woke up before Levi because it was my turn to look at his sleeping face.He's really handsome. He slowly woke up,

"Good morning Levi !"

It took him a second to register and answer,

"What are you staring at ?"

I grinned sheepishly and said,

"You!"

"And why is that ?"

"Because you did it too so it's my turn!"

"Wha- Oh that. Are you serious ? What are you, a kid ?"

"But you were staring at me like some kind of creep yesterday!"

"What a kid...And I'm not a creep."

I stick out my tongue at him and he rolled his eyes. He pushed me off the bed and stood up. I followed him. Levi turned around and smiled at me. I smiled back. His smile is so beautiful...

We then went to brush our teeth and to breakfast.
I saw Haru and ran to him,

"Hey Eren!"

"Good morning Haru!"

"EREN!"

"Hi Hanji!"

After our greeting, we all sat down with our plates. We ate while talking. I felt eyes on me and looked at my right to see Levi staring at me intensely with furrowed eyebrows,

"What is it, Levi ?"

"You got...some...some cream here..."

He got closer and licked the cream that was on my cheek,

"Huh ?!"

He licked his lips while looking at me. I could feel myself blush and I looked down hoping he wouldn't notice it,

"What's wrong Eren ?"

Asked Hanji,

"Nothing..."

For some reason, Haru looked upset. I looked, worried. When he noticed he smiled at me and I smiled back.

***TIME SKIP***

We finished eating and I went to what they call the living room, with Haru and Levi. For some reason, they kept glaring at each other.
I looked at them and then around me.
There was playing cards on the table. I returned my attention back at them, smiled and said,

"Hey let's play cards !"

They both looked at me surprised,

"That's a great idea Eren!"

"Whatever you want, brat."

I smiled and led them both to the table. We sat down and began playing until 2 p.m.
I kept losing and the battle seemed more to be between the two guys.

This evening Levi and Haru were busy so I had to wait for them in Levi's bedroom. It was boring so I decided I would look around the building. I kept walking around and went past a room. The one I was in before. I could hear someone screaming and another person talking so I stopped to listen.

"Where is he ?!"

"I-I don't fucking know !! I already told you what I k-know-GAH !!!"

"No, you didn't."

"I-I swear I did, you fucking motherfucker-UGH!! STOP !! NO...DON'T COME ANY CLOSER! NO...PLEASE...I BEG YO-AAARGH!!"

I couldn't hear anything anymore. The footsteps were coming this way so I ran as far as possible. Is he...is he dead ? And that voice...it was Levi's...no way he couldn't have killed him...right ?

I heard footsteps coming closer, so I went to hide. I could make out a conversation between two people. Levi and...Erwin was it?

"We still have no idea where he is and this man wouldn't betray him."

"Tch...Even thought Grisha betrayed him. I can't stand him. We need to find that fucking bastard"

"I'll search more then"

"And burn the corpse. It's dirty and it smells"

"Yes Levi."

The corpse...so the man is really d-dead...He'll kill you too. He won't hesitate. No... I can't stay here...The footsteps slowly faded away. I made sure no one else was here and ran out of my hiding spot. I am now standing in front of a door. This one is different from others. I can hear sounds, the sounds of the city, of the cars, of people talking. I never really liked all this but...this word kept turning round in my head.

Escape...Escape...Escape...

I couldn't resist it. I took a step forward. I remembered Levi's smile, the first time he smiled at me. I took another step. I remembered how caring and kind Levi had been to me this week. How he began to actually treat me as a person. Not like him.

I grabbed the doorknob and twisted it slowly, telling myself I would see my my best friends again. I had to remind myself how much he hurt me and the fact that he killed someone. With that in mind, I opened the door. The light was too bright at first. After a while, I saw the outside world. But just then,

"Eren ?"

Hi everyone!! I'm sorry my story is becoming worse each chapter. I have loads of ideas. I just don't know where and how to put them...
