'Hey I Heard You Were A Wild One , If I Took You Home It Be A Home Run.'
I groaned as my alarm on my phone went off.
I reached my arm out and brought my phone in-front of me.
8:30, shit just got real. I jumped out my bed and quickly walked into the shower,
Saffron was going to be here soon!
I didn't have to worry about school, I quit, dropped out, how ever you would like to put it, I only quit because of the bullying.
And Saffron dropped out with me, she wanted to, I didn't even make her.
But I do dance at an academy.
It's called IMANI, because of the director, Nicole Latengo, she had faith in all the dancers at the academy,
She also founded it many years ago.
I stripped down and jumped into the warm shower, I washed my hair letting the smell of watermelon drift into every corner of the room.
I washed my body down then stepped out of the shower. I wrapped a pink fluffy towel around my body as I blow dried my hair.
I looked at myself in the mirror, 'what's the point?' I whispered to myself as I walked out of the bathroom to my room.
I walked to my closet putting on my seamless underwear and leotard. I also put over a baggy shirt and some tights.
I walked down stairs as I heard the door bell.
I walked up and opened it. 'Saffron.' I smiled. 'I'm nearly ready.' I yelled as I walked back to the kitchen.
'okay.' Saffron replied back as she sat down on the couch.
'Just got to put my hair up.' I smiled as I walked over to the mirror and started to brush my long straight hair.
I pulled it up wrapping it around in a bun placing a pink hair tie in it to hold it with a couple bobby-pins.
'Okay done.' I smiled picking up my bag.
'Let's go then best friend.' Saffron danced a little retarted dance as we left. I laughed as we walked out of the door and down the road to the academy.
It's a rule that you have to live walkable distance from the academy just in case of an emergency! It's pretty stupid.
We walked up the stairs opening both of the big white doors leading into the academy. The scraping noise across the ground the doors made as we walked in everyone to busy stretching or at there lockers to take notice.
'Second year baby.' Saffron cheered as we walked up the hall.
'It's going to be ALOT harder.' I sighed. 'Hopefully I'll pass again.'
'You will silly, your an amazing dancer!' Saffron patted my back as we walked into the class.
'New people hey.' I smiled at the few people I did know from last year.
'Class.' Michelle walked into the dance room. 'I dropped my bag in the corner along with Saffron's and walked up to the bar.
'Know all of you know the expectations we have as teachers, I expect no excuses.'
I looked over at Saffron and smiled as I stretched on the bar and floor.
'Now I want contemporary on Tuesday,Thursday and Saturday and ballet on Monday and Wednesday then Hip hop on Friday.' I watched her walk over to the stereo, 'Remember those now.' I nodded as I got up and stretched my head from side to side.
'Now we are gonna start with Bar work.' I walked over to the bar facing Saffron on the other side.
I smiled as I went down into a plié raising my arm above my head and floating it down above my hips.
