1. We missed you too.

I got up earlier than usually. Today I would see my best friends Marcus and Martinus. They came back yesterday but they were really tired, so I didn't want to bother them.

Mum: "Loren, how are you already up?"

Me: "They are gonna be here in any minute!"

I can't wait. I miss them so much. And specially Martinus. I have liked him since 3rd grade.

Mum: "calm down. You don't want to scare them away."

She laughed and hugged me.

Me: "I just miss them so much."

Mum: "I know"

I heard the doorbell and ran to the door. I opened it and saw them smiling at me. I hugged first Marcus and then Martinus, but him little longer.

Me: "I have been so lonely without you guys"

Marcus: "we missed you too"

Martinus: "it's nice to see you again."

I smiled to his beautiful eyes.

Martinus: "Morning mrs.Woods."

Mum: "oh, morning boys. Nice to see you."

Marcus: "you too."

Me: "should we get to the school?"

Martinus: "yeah, see you later mrs.Woods."

Mum: "bye!"

Me: "bye mum!"

We started to walk to school, but then I saw someone who I really didn't want to see. It was my dad. I tried not to look at him. What was he doing at our school? Marcus looked at me.

Marcus: "is everything okay?"

Me: "my dad is there."

Marcus and Martinus looked at the door.

Martinus: "Maybe you should talk to him..."

Me: "NO!!!"

Marcus: "Loren calm down."

Me: "sorry... I didn't mean to yell."

Martinus hugged me.

Martinus: "it's okay"

Marcus: "let's just walk in."

I know it's not going to work, but it was the only way.

Me: "okay."

We were so close to the door. My dad was looking at me. I got to the door and just when I were getting inside, I felt his hand on mine. I tried to get it away, but he was holding it too tight.

Me: "don't touch me!"

Dad: "please talk to me."

Martinus: "she doesn't have to, if she doesn't want to."

Dad: "Loren, please."

Me: "I have nothing to say to you."

Dad: "but I do"

Me: "I will never listen to you, NEVER!"

He let go and I got inside. I had biology first and so did boys.

Marcus: "are you okay?"

Me: "yeah... I just don't want to see him."

Martinus: "we get it, what he did was awful."

Marcus: "no dad, should ever hit their family. Not even when is drunk."

Me: "he was always drunk."
