Me and Martinus freezed. I have seen this before. But on Marcus' place was me. Thank god he haven't cut yet.
Me: "Marcus please put that down."
He looked at the knife and dropped it to the floor. He broke down in tears. I walked slowly next to him and gave him a hug.
Me: "I know it's hard now but I promise you will find someone who actually loves you."
I think I might have just said that wrong. i looked at Martinus, he was still freezed. He was just standing still at the door. Marcus looked up to Martinus.
Marcus: "I'm sorry for making you guys worry."
Martinus: "WORRY?!! MARCUS WE FOUND YOU WITH A KNIFE ON YOUR HAND, READY TO CUT YOURSELF. SO NOW YOUR SORRY?!!"
Martinus walked out.
Me: "Don't worry he will calm down. I'll talk to him."
I took The knife and walked out. I went to the kitchen and put the knife where it belongs. I walked back upstairs into Martinus' room. I closed the door behind me. Martinus was sobbing into his pillow. I sat next to him to the bed.
Martinus: "why would he want to cut himself?"
Me: "He was really sad and angry."
Martinus: "it doesn't mean that he has to do something like that"
Me: "I know but I also know what he feels like"
Martinus: "what do you mean?"
Me: "um... I used to cut myself too. "
Martinus: "why? And when?"
Me: "when my dad hurted me."
Martinus: "you haven't done it anymore, right?"
I shook my head for no.
Martinus: "thank god."
Me: "we just need to make sure that Marcus gets better. And yelling at him doesn't help."
Martinus looked down.
Martinus: "I just want him to be happy again."
Me: "I know you should go give him a hug."
Martinus: "I guess I should."
