Hanzo slowly opened his eyes. The sun that was coming through the window was blinding him.
And then it struck him.
Firstly, he would never leave the curtains open, such a rookie mistake! And secondly, it was way, way, later than the time he was used to waking up.
After taking a look around he also realized that this wasn't in fact his room.
It looked, and surprisingly smelt like, a cheap motel room. There was something off about this: Hanzo would never voluntarily pay to stay in a room like this. His standards of accommodation were actually really high. At least higher than this.
The bed he was sleeping in was messy. His pants were on the floor- he had slept with only a shirt on.
Talking a walk around, Hanzo found a familiar figure sleeping on the floor. An almost too familiar figure.
It was Jesse McCree.
Hanzo recognized him, he was the first person he met once he joined overwatch.
He slightly kicked McCree, checking if he was alive.
"Uh.." Was all he heard in response.
"Wake up." Hanzo dryly said.
"M-mom? Five more minutes." McCree said while whispering.
"It's not your mother, idiot." Hanzo replied. "And if you want to sleep some more, at least do it on the bed, not in the goddamn floor!"
"But it's comfortable down here." McCree whispered under his breath. Even though it was one pm, it was way too early for him.
"Either way, you got some explaining to do. So get up, go get dressed, and meet me downstairs." Hanzo picked up his clothes and left for the bathroom to get dressed himself.
McCree simply shrugged it off with an "okay" without putting much thought into it. Hanzo was a mysterious man, it's no wonder McCree didn't know what he was talking about.
He rolled over and went back to sleep. Hanzo came out of the bathroom.
"You have to get up, you idiot. It's way too late to get breakfast- don't skip lunch too!" Hanzo told him as he left the room.
"Fine...." McCree yelled as he put all his effort and strength to get up.
After a few tries, he finally got up. He picked up from the floor his clothes and went straight in to the bathroom. As he was brushing his teeth, he started to rethink about what happened earlier.
His eyes widened. He dropped his toothbrush into the sink, as a wave of Realisation hit him.
"Oh shit" was all he could say.

After ten minutes filled with nothing but a mixture of fangirling and mentally cursing himself, McCree headed downstairs.
He grabbed a plate from the kitchen, and walked towards the table Hanzo was sitting on, as he was humorously greeted by his co-workers.
"Guess who decided to show up" Genji joked.
"Jesse McCree- What have I told you about skipping breakfast." Ana told him.
"That it is bad for my health and I shouldn't do it." Jesse replied.
"Let him off the hook, Ana. I heard he was with Hanzo this morning." Tracer interfered.
As soon as they heard that, both McCree's and Hanzo's faces were turning red. McCree quickly rushed over to Hanzo's table without saying anything sat down and began to eat.
Hanzo on the other side, was determined to find out what happened. He began to ask him questions.
"How's the salad?" Hanzo asked.
"Dry" McCree coldly replied.
"The food?"
"Tasteless"
"Why aren't you talking to me?"
"I am eating"
"We have to discuss what happened."
McCree simply ignored him and continue eating. Once he was finished with his plate, he looked over at Hanzo's.
"Are you going to eat that?" McCree asked. Hanzo passed him over the plate, not saying a word.
"You can't ignore me forever." Hanzo said.
Silence.
"I need to know what happened." Hanzo stated once more.
McCree dropped his fork onto his plate.
"You're annoying." McCree told him.
"Same thing goes for you." Hanzo replied.
"Okay- here's what happened." McCree told Hanzo as he mentally prepared himself about what was going to happen next.
