Chapter 1: The Surprise

Mitch's P.O.V

"Nnnghh" I groaned as I heard my phone vibrate on my small desk. I rubbed my eyes and looked at the clock. 4 A.M. Who woke me up? ugh. If it's one of the guys I swear I'm gonna kill them. I grabbed my phone and saw messages from Hangouts. It was a group chat between me, Jerome, Ashley, Preston, Mat, and Rob. And they were typing. fast.

J= Jerome A= Ashley P= Preston N= Mat (N bc of Nooch) R= Rob

J: Ok, anyone wanna record a battle dome tonight?

A: me

P: same

N: me 3

R: i do :D

J: ok. Mat pick your team and Ash pick your team.

A: oo I get the dibs then

N: hmmmmm

A: I choose mitch & jerome

N: Puurston & Robs with me

J: ok, oh and we might anger mitch since its only um 4 in the morn so.

M: YOU MONSTERS!!

I rolled my eyes and went to the bathroom, I had to tidy up. Even though it was only 4 in the morning their was a surprise. A big surprise.

I brushed my teeth and ran my fingers through my hair. I scurried to my drawer and picked out a Power Moves Only shirt, my red jacket, plain blue jeans, and my black converse. After changing into my new and fresh clothes I grabbed my phone and made my way to the staircase. I raced down the stairs not caring if anyone in the house heard and headed into the kitchen. I grabbed Captain Crunch, milk, and a bowl. I ate my cereal and decided to check my instagram and twitter, it seems the same for now. I checked the clock. It was 5 a.m now. I decided there was nothing to do so I just stayed on twitter talking to friends. After a while I heard a door click open. Jerome was the one to open the door. He ran down the stairs paying attention to only his phone causing him to miss a step and tumble down the stairs. "ARGGG GOSH DANG IT." He exclaimed but quiet enough to not wake everyone else up.

Jerome's P.O.V

"ARGGG GOSH DANG IT." I screamed trying to be loud enough for Mitch to hear yet quiet so no one would be woken up. I had ran down the stairs while texting Louise. Man, I would do anything for her.

**Side note: Louise is Jerome's gf irl. Lé Resume**

He was on the couch staring at me and laughing. "Anti power move already?" he joked. I rolled my eyes and sat on the other couch "So, biggums. You're dressed nicely for once" I said. He shrugged and resumed being on his phone. "So. What were you paying attention to that you fell?" Mitch asked."Louise" I smiled. He nodded and smiled "you know, you guys are just too ADEERRRABLE. #Lorome". I looked away trying to hide my red face. "Welp. brb biggums" Mitch said as he got up to go to the bathroom. He left his phone behind. "Ok bud" I said eyeing him out of the room. As he left the room I rushed to his phone not making a noise. I saw he and Ashley have been texting. Huh. He's my best friend. He won't mind would he? I won't read his personal stuff in the first place. Eh. Whats the worse that can happen? My curiousity had gotten the best of me.

A: Hey!~ u sure you cn pick me up today? :))) If u can i'll love u foreverrrr <3

M: oh hey ash :] im sure i can pick u up, im not doing anything anyways.

A: thanks mitch i can always count on you :3 i get off the plane in a few minutes so if you can get to the airport at 5:30

M: got it biggums. cya later then

A: bye

Huh? Ash's visiting? This is perfect! He could ask her out finally!

"Jerome?"

"Oh hey biggums!" I smiled trying to hide his phone. "Wuddya read?" he said calmly. Oh good. He isn't mad. Whew "Just that ASH IS COMING!" I exclaimed happily. "Sh" Mitch whispered "No one's suppose to know. It's suppose to be a surprise." I nodded as if I knew what to do. "But bud, when she's over are you gonna ask her out? We've all been waiting for it." I said lowly with a serious face. He shook his head. Mitch shook his head. IS HE REALLY NOT GONNA TELL HER? We all still have to wait for him. I sighed and nodded understanding his decision.

Mitch's P.O.V

What if I told Ash my feelings. Would she feel the same way? ... Whatever I checked the time and saw it was already 5:20. Dang it I had to pick up Ashley but I won't be there on time... "Jerome, I'm gonna go pick up Ash now dont tell anyone! Thanks G" I whispered to him. Jerome nodded and began to do things on his phone.
